New homes round up - Stirlingshire, Scotland

Posted 10 October 2014 by Keith Osborne

Home to one of Scotland’s newest cities, Stirlingshire has something to offer everyone.  Whether you’re looking to enjoy scenic surroundings or be amidst the hustle and bustle of city life, house hunters in the area are bound to find the perfect new-build property to suit their lifestyle.

In Stirling itself, Cruden Homes has a variety of two- and three-bedroom properties still on the market at its popular Stirling Bridge site (pictured) in the newly rejuvenated Raploch area.  Prices here range from £125,000 for a two-bedroom mid-terrace villa to £137,000 for a semi-detached three-bedroom house.  The scheme is close to the city centre and many of the properties here afford great views of Stirling Castle.

Staying in the city, Wallace Gardens is a Stewart Milne Homes development with a selection of two-, four-, five and six-bedroom properties available.  Prices start from £148,000 for an apartment comprising an entrance hallway with plenty of storage space, living room, kitchen, master bedroom with en-suite, guest bedroom and a bathroom.  At the opposite end of the price scale, £338,000 buys a detached five-bedroom family villa with lounge, dining room, breakfasting kitchen, master bedroom with en-suite and walk-in wardrobe, guest bedroom with en-suite shower room and a double integrated garage.

Situated in Callander, Bellway Homes’ Forest Walk development has just two house types remaining on the market.  Both are five-bedroom detached family properties with prices starting from £374,995.  Depending on the home style chosen, benefits include formal lounges, family rooms, dining kitchens, garden rooms and garages.

For those looking for something a little more compact, a collection of three-bedroom terraced homes is offered by Persimmon Homes at its Woodland View development in the historical town of Doune. The ‘Newmore’ costs £134,995 and features a lounge, dining kitchen and an en-suite to the master bedroom.  The site is well placed for commuters with Stirling only eight miles away and both Glasgow and Perth within a 45-minute drive.

In nearby Deanston, CALA’s Millbank development offers a range of five-bedroom detached properties.  Taken from the house builder’s prestigious Signature Collection, available homes here range from £376,000 to £450,000.  For example, the ‘Ranald’ house type comes in at £440,000 and boasts an open-plan lounge and dining room, kitchen with family area, a study, en-suites to three of the five bedrooms and a garage.  The farming village is a great choice for buyers looking for a quiet pace of life but still within easy reach of the city, which is just 15 minutes away by car.
