This David Wilson Homes kitchen will be perfect for #GBBO fans

Posted 2 September 2015 by Keith Osborne

After last week’s dessert dramas and the pros and cons of blowtorches versus grills, we move onto a ‘free-form’ theme this week for the Great British Bake Off (#GBBO). And if you enjoy company while cooking – or indeed, love an audience – then this kitchen in East Hampshire will tick all of your boxes and is the perfect backdrop to create your very own signature bake.

The kitchen is in the ‘Ula’ show home at One Eight Zero, the new David Wilson Homes development at Bedhampton Hill. It fulfils everything you want for any technical challenge and is indeed a showstopper – carefully crafted and with an immediate ‘wow factor’.

The open-plan dining area offers plenty of space to showcase your creations and impress your guests. There are integrated appliances including a double eye-level oven, providing a streamlined and modern look to the kitchen, and there is no shortage of light flooding into the kitchen with a featured glazed bay opening onto the garden. For informal eating the central breakfast bar provides a focal point for the room and there is a utility room to keep all of your supplies neatly stored.

And while your guests savour the cooking smells and are impressed by your skills in the kitchen they can take in the panoramic views over Langstone Harbour. Naturally, the wine will be chilled to the perfect temperature in the integrated wine cooler.

The show home is one of just 46 four- and five-bedroom homes at One Eight Zero which have been built to the highest specification and designed to offer uncompromised style and design in an unrivalled location.

In addition to the showstopping kitchen, the Ula has a lounge, study and a family room on the ground flow while upstairs two of the bedrooms have ensuite facilities and bi-fold doors onto private balconies. There are two further doubles, a single bedroom and large family bathroom.

Prices start at £565,000 for the four-bedroom homes, while the five-bedroom ‘Ula’ show home is priced at £795,000.
