Launch of new homes in west London this weekend

Bellway Homes launches its Lion Wharf development in Old Isleworth this weekend, bringing a range of new riverside homes to a sought-after part of the London Borough of Hounslow.

From Saturday 12 May, house-hunters can visit Lion Wharf to find out more about its collection of high-specification apartments and townhouses, which will appeal to downsizers, families and commuters alike. Riverside Quarter is the first phase, with 56 studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments, many with views over the River Thames. Edenstone Homes presents final properties and a new show home

The GreenWhile currently coming to the end of one of its developments, Edenstone Homes is also attracting house-hunters to a brand new one with the opening of a show home at another.

At The Green in Crickhowell, Powys, there are just a few homes left for sale in two four-bedroom property styles, the ‘Flint’ and the ‘Kilgetty’, with prices starting at £484,950. Edenstone is offering the Part Exchange scheme here to help purchasers upgrading from their current home and wishing to avoid the hassle of the property chain. Andrea Nippe, sales director for Edenstone Homes, says: “We now have just a few homes to sell and would invite potential purchasers to speak to us about their housing needs – even if they have a property to sell. We could effectively buy it from them with Part Exchange, or we might be able to break the chain that’s delaying their plans to move.”

Meanwhile, Saturday 12 May sees the unveiling of a new show home at another site, Sealey Wood in the Gloucestershire village of Horsley, a development of 16 properties, with two already reserved off-plan and prices currently starting at £558,000. Visitors to the site can now tour the double-fronted four-bedroom ‘Barrington’ show house to see build quality and specification for themselves. Nippe adds: “We’re respecting the heritage of the area by using Cotswold stone to ensure that this extension of the village blends into the neighbourhood. But while the homes will look very traditional, we’ve taken a design-led approach to create homes that reflect how people really live today.  By viewing the show home buyers will gain an insight as to what they can expect.”
