Three offers at East Scotland developments – Taylor Wimpey is offering a range of special incentives at three of its developments in the east of Scotland. House-hunters investigating homes at Meadowlands in Dunfermline, Calderwood in East Calder or Victoria Grange in Monifieth will find a choice of three offers on selected plots: they can use Part Exchange and get flooring for free; use Easymover and get Land and Buildings Transaction Tax (LBTT) paid and free flooring; or take a £5,000 discount and flooring. Summer incentives in South Lanarkshire – Miller Homes has introduced a range of buyer incentives at its developments in South Lanarkshire. At Newston Park in Cambuslang, there is a four-bedroom ‘Douglas’ house type on Plot 94 where the housebuilder will cover the 5% deposit, and on Plot 26, with deposit paid and free flooring. At Miller Homes at Benthall Farm in East Kilbride, the final ‘Blair’ four-bedroom house on Plot 45 at £230,000 comes with 5% deposit paid. For £333,000, there’s a five-bedroom ‘Rossie’ detached home on Plot 105 at Highstonehall, a development in Hamilton, which is available with Part Exchange and again, Miller Homes will cover 5% of the deposit. New phase unveiled at Aberdeen development – A new collection of homes has been released for sale by CALA Homes at Milltimber Manor in Oldfold Village, Aberdeen. The Oval at Milltimber Manor is an exclusive development of 11 five-bedroom detached homes, where is has built some of its most popular ‘Light and Space’ house types – the 'Lowther’, the ‘MacRae’ and the ‘Moncrief’ - as well as a couple of new variations of the ‘Kennedy’ and ‘Ramsay’. Show home goes for sale in Motherwell – Springfield has put the show home at its Springfield in Motherwell on the market. There are just four homes left for sale at the development, and the ‘Crail’ house type has been fully fitted with carpets, appliances, fitted wardrobes, modern décor, blind, light fittings and upgraded floor tiles. It is being offered at £343,000 and the buyer has the option to include the furniture and furnishings. Find out more at


Doors open at Merseyside development – A luxury development has been launched by Jones Homes in Eccleston, near St Helens, and house-hunters can now visit a show home there. Springfield Gate is a gated development of four- and five-bedroom houses, and a ‘Knightsbridge II’ house type has been fully fitted and decorated to show prospective purchasers just what they can expect there. One of the homes is being created from a refurbishment of the old gatekeeper’s lodge. Five of the 12 homes here have already been reserved. New show home at Bristol waterside development – Developer partners Galliard Homes and Acorn Property Group have unveiled a new show home at New Retort House, one of three buildings at the Brandon Yard development on Bristol Harbourside. Some 80% of properties there have already been sold: remaining for sale are eight at New Retort House and four at Oculus House. WN Interiors fitted and furnished the show home, which has two bedrooms, open-plan kitchen and a private balcony. Viewing the show home is by appointment only. Eco-friendly homes for sale near Lincoln – House-hunters looking for an eco-friendly brand new home in Lincolnshire can check out Woodlands Edge, a development from Gusto Homes five miles from Lincoln city centre. This will comprise just 29 homes on a 12-acre site with its own private woodland, tennis court, ponds and an allotment for every household. The second phase of homes comprises six four-beds and five two-beds, ranging in price from £300,000 to £499,000. Each are fully electric and generate the majority of their power from integrated solar panels on the roof, and contain air filtration and heat recovery systems, Heating can be controlled by an app on your mobile phone, and running costs are typically less than £1 a day. Final homes for sale at Peak District development – There are just two properties left for sale at The Coppice, a Lovell Homes development in the Peak District in Derbyshire.  Located in the small town of Chapel-en-le-Frith, where just two homes remain for sale. Priced at £342,995, the ‘Furlow A’ house type at plot 40 is one of the homes has four bedrooms , while the ‘Owlbrook’ on plot 44 is a five-bedroom property priced at £467,995.  Each home includes integrated appliances, double electric oven with a five-ring gas hob, turfed front and rear gardens, fitted wardrobes to the master bedroom. New homes launched in Hersham – Surrey house-hunters now have more new apartments to consider, with the launch of Aspect, a new Crest Nicholson development in Hersham. It is bringing 38 properties to the town, with one-, two- and three-bedroom options, each with open-plan layout and its own private balcony. Prices right now start from £299,950 for a one-bedroom apartment, and the government-backed Help to Buy scheme is available on selected properties. For a closer look at design and specification, there are current two show homes, one with a single bedroom, the other with three. New Shared Ownership homes unveiled in Oxford – First-time buyers may have to act quickly to secure one of the new Shared Ownership homes that Catalyst has just released in the sought-after city of Oxford. Spires Place is on its outskirts, just four miles from its centre, and has a range of one- and two-bedroom apartments and three-bedroom homes. Priority on these homes will given to those who live or work in Oxford, have a household income that does not exceed £80,000 and do not already own or have their name on the deeds to another property. Guide prices start from £104,000 for a 40% share of a one-bedroom apartment (based on a full market value £260,000) and from £122,500 for a 25% share of a three-bedroom house (based on a full market value £490,000). Launch in Hoo this weekend – Taylor Wimpey is hosting an event on Saturday 1 June as it launches Church View, a collection of two-, three- and four-bedroom homes. This launch event takes place at the housebuilder’s Langley Park development in Maidstone. Prices for the first releases start from £279,995, with a range of incentives offered to assist first-time buyers and those moving up the property ladder. For those that can’t make the event, Langley Park is open from Friday to Wednesday, 10.00am to 5.000pm, and Thursday from 10.00am to 1.00pm. Electrical charge points at new homes in Windsor – A boutique development from Spitfire Bespoke Homes is embracing the future with the provision of external electric car charge points for residents. St Marks Gate is a collection of just 14 homes close to the castle, with five townhouses, eight two-bedroom apartments and one exclusive penthouse. Prices start at £725,000 for the apartments and £1.29m for the townhouses, which come with glass-fronted balconies, private rear gardens and off-street parking. Estate agency hosts Help to Buy show this Saturday – The Southampton branch of estate agents Fox & Sons is hosting a Help to Buy event where house-hunters can find out details about the government-backed scheme that gives them the opportunity to purchase a new build home with a deposit of just 5%. From 10.00am to 3.00pm this Saturday 1 June, the agency’s team can also show the range of new homes for sale in the region, from a number of housebuilders and developers , and there will be mortgage advisers on hand to assist with the financial side of buying a home. Star Wars-themed show home opens in Buckinghamshire – Weston Homes’ award-winning Denham Film Studios development has a show home that is now packed with Star Wars-related features, including a hand-painted mural of a stormtrooper and Death Star light. It’s the latest of a series of film themes for the development of the former studios site which was responsible for many high-profile pictures over decades from the likes of Spielberg, Hitchcock and Kubrick. ‘The Lester’ show home is available fully dressed for £775,000, while undressed versions of that house type start at £745,000. Assisted Move introduced at Bedfordshire development – Catalyst has brought in its Assisted Move scheme to help buyers at Rutherford Fields in Leighton Buzzard. Those who already have a home can now receive independent advice and assistance to help market their existing home in order to proceed with the purchase of a new one here, including getting the old home independently valued, taking some of the stress out of moving up the property ladder. Rutherford Fields has a mix of one- and two-bedroom apartments available through Shared Ownership, and two-, three- and four-bedroom homes for private sale. New apartments launch on Help to Buy – There's a new development of high-specification apartments now available close to King’s Cross, where buyers can use the London Help to Buy scheme. London Square Caledonian Road has one-bedroom apartments starting at £560,000, each with outside space and with a short walk of regenerated King’s Cross, with its new public spaces, great shopping and exceptional transport links. Family homes launched in Mill Hill – Barratt London has released a collection of six family homes at its Ridgeway Views development, part of the regeneration of Mill Hill. The four- and five-bedroom homes are the first of their type to launch there, joining the range of apartments currently available. Ten minutes from both Mill Hill East Tube station and the village centre, they are on a sought-after road and built to a suitably high specification with large gardens, a garage and two parking spaces per property.
