Keith OsborneThames Valley Housing will shortly launch a mix of refurbished and new apartments and four-bedroom houses for sale in Frimley town centre, at its Woodbridge development, on the site formerly occupied by Frimley Children’s Centre.
Kush Rawal, sales and marketing director at Thames Valley Housing, says: “The fantastic range of homes at Woodbridge will appeal to a wide range of buyers, from those wishing to buy their first home in an area with great commuter links to people looking for a spacious family house in a central location and close to good schools. The existing building is being restored with great sensitivity to preserve many original features and the new homes have been designed to complement the historic building, while maintaining a contemporary appearance.’’
The site has been empty for a number of years at the popular Surrey commuter town, with the Centre having re-located to the main hospital. Thames Valley Housing, which one Gold at the WhatHouse? Awards 2015, is retaining the listed building at its heart – originally constructed in 1909 – restoring many original features in its conversion into one- and two-bedroom apartments. In the landscaped grounds, a new collection of four-bedroom family homes will complement the period building.
The Woodbridge development is located less than 100 metres from the shops on Frimley High Street, adjacent to the Grade II listed White Hart pub.
The apartments will have a modern, open-plan layout and be well specified, with a fitted designer kitchen, integrated appliances and a built-in wardrobe to the master bedroom, as well as an allocated parking space. Prices start at £299,995.
The four-bedroom houses have bi-fold doors that open out into a private garden and two parking spaces. A parking space is allocated for each of the one and two-bedroom apartments.
