Home of the Day – ‘The Warwick’, Troy Homes

Posted 21 June 2021 by Keith Osborne

Our latest favourite new home is ‘The Warwick’, a luxurious one-off house in much sought-after Hadley Wood, north London…

The attention of the WhatHouse? team has been turned to ‘The Warwick’, a striking home just released off-plan by Troy Homes in one of the premier roads in the residential hotspot of Hadley Wood.

‘The Warwick’ is a contemporary, architect-designed detached home approached via a long sweeping gated drive. On entering the property, there’s a spacious split level reception hall from which all principal rooms lead off, including a magnificent lounge with a vaulted ceiling, luxury fitted kitchen/family room, utility, dining room, study and guest cloakroom. The kitchen is fitted with high-quality furniture, quartz worktops and splashbacks (available in a choice of various colours, subject to stage of construction) with integrated Siemens appliances.

A featured glass staircase will rise gently to the first-floor landing from which you can access the master bedroom suite, complete with dressing room and en suite bathroom. In addition, there are a further three bedrooms two with en suites and a family bathroom. All bathrooms feature Villeroy & Bosch sanitaryware throughout, plus mirrored wall units and Hansgrohe taps and shower fittings.

Externally, there will be a large terrace with steps leading down to a garden, a double integral garage and additional parking.

The property is located an easy distance to Hadley Wood mainline station, which offers a regular service into Moorgate and King’s Cross with a journey time of approximately 30 minutes. Nearby, you can also find local restaurants, a top-rated hairdressing salon, a convenient newsagent and a health club. Cockfosters Underground station (on the Piccadilly line) is just three miles away, as is Junction 24 of the M25, providing a link to all major motorways and London airports.

Additionally, the area is also home to esteemed educational facilities such as Stormont, Lochinver, St Johns, Haberdashers’ Aske's for Boys and Haberdashers’ Aske’s for Girls, Mill Hill School, Aldenham, Belmont, Dame Alice Owen, Haileybury, Queenswood and Queen Elizabeth's Girls and Boys Schools.

The nearby Trent Country Park is a rural haven of ancient woodland, lakes and open fields — perfect for outdoor activities such as walking, cycling and horse riding. Hadley Wood Golf Club and the lawn tennis club are also within walking distance.

Just a few minutes’ drive away is The Spires: Barnet’s historic shopping centre where you can find a vast range of familiar high-street shops and eateries. There’s also the fortnightly farmers’ market in Barnet which has been perating for over 800 years and is ideal for picking up local produce such as fresh fish, gourmet cheeses and home-roasted coffee.

‘The Warwick’ now available to buy off-plan for £2.45million. Find out more at troyhomes.co.uk.
