Keith OsborneWe’re always on the lookout for notable new homes designs and right now, we’re most impressed by a house type from Roberston Homes at Bowes Manor in Burnopfield.
The ‘Clemente Garden Room’ is a great example of the brand new, contemporary-design family homes at this 48-home development. A four-bedroom detached house, it offers 1,326 sq ft of living space with plenty of storage and the bonus of integral single garage, and is priced from £355,995.
The downstairs has a light and spacious open-plan kitchen/dining room which leads into a Robertson Homes statement feature, a dual-aspect garden room, which has floor-to-ceiling cathedral-style windows and French doors leading out into the garden. This spacious open space layout features a designer kitchen with high-quality integrated appliances. Off it is a utility room and the downstairs WC. There’s a separate large lounge at the front of the house, with access directly from both the hallway and kitchen/diner. Upstairs, there are three double bedrooms, a single bedroom and a large family bathroom. The generous primary bedroom includes fitted wardrobes and a separate en suite with shower. Find out more.
Just nine miles from the centre of Newcastle-upon-Tyne, the 48 brand new homes at Bowes Manor include high-specification two-bedroom bungalows, three-bedroom terraced and semi-detached homes, and four- and five-bedroom detached homes.
The village of Burnopfield is set in attractive countryside and benefits from local amenities including convenience stores, takeaways, doctor’s surgery and a dentist. There’s also Hobson Golf Club, Lintz Cricket Club and Burnopfield Cricket Club on the doorstep. Burnopfield is also well served by a good mix of local primary and secondary schools.
For a wide choice of places to shop and find entertainment, the Metrocentre is only five miles away. Just over two miles from the development, and set within 600 acres of gardens, woodland and countryside, is the Gibside Estate, one of a few surviving 18th-century designed landscapes that was fashioned with two things in mind; spectacular views and wow moments.
Bowes Manor is ideally located for commuters, close to the A1(M) and with a local bus route connecting Gateshead and Newcastle, and frequently regional and national services from Newcastle Central station.
Prices here range from £355,995 to £509,995. Find out more about Bowes Manor from Robertson Homes.
