Home of the Day – The ‘Haltwhistle’, Barratt Homes
The WhatHouse? team takes a close look at our current favourite new build home for sale – today it is the ‘Haltwhistle’, a detached home style found at Dane View, Barratt Homes’ development in Rudheath, neighbouring Northwich in Cheshire.
One of the reasons we’ve picked out the ‘Haltwhistle’ is that there is one on Plot 113 which is coming with extras worth thousands of pounds, and has views over the countryside. This is a detached, four-bedroom house type that includes an integral garage. The ground floor also has a spacious lounge and there’s a glazed walk-in bay opening onto the rear garden which brings lots of light into the open-plan kitchen with family and dining areas, and a handy utility room with its own door to the rear. Upstairs are four double bedrooms, the main bedroom coming with en suite shower room, and there’s a family bathroom with a shower over the bath. Priced at £385,995, this plot comes with a superb £7,744 kitchen upgrade and flooring throughout worth over £6,600.
There’s also a ‘Haltwhistle’ on Plot 46, at the same price but without those extras. Both homes qualify for Help to Buy, Part Exchange and will come free of Stamp Duty until 31 March 2021.
Dane View is a development of three- and four-bedroom homes in Rudheath, a rural area just on the eastern edge of Northwich, a few minutes from the town centre and the station. The town has a fine choice of shops, amenities and places to have fun. A network of major roads in the area put the likes of Chester, Liverpool and Manchester within easy reach. It’s under 30 minutes to Manchester Airport.
