The WhatHouse? team reports on our current favourite new home for sale right now – today, we pick the ‘Buchanan’ at Barratt @ St Rumbold’s Fields in Buckingham.

From the huge array of home types being constructed at this development, there are currently a number of three- and five-bedroom houses available. On Plot 101, the ‘Buchanan’, from £350,000, is a double-fronted three-bedroom house type. On one side of the ground floor is a spacious lounge, on the other a kitchen/dining room, both of which have French doors onto the rear garden. The master bedrooms has an en suite shower room and there’s another double bedroom, a single bedroom and family bathroom. This home comes with a sizeable garden, a carport and driveway.

Homes currently for sale at Barratt @ St Rumbold’s Fields range from £325,000 to £490,000, all available through the government-backed Help to Buy equity loan scheme. Until Sunday 1 December, there’s a special Black Friday offer for those reserving a home, a £7,500 John Lewis & Partners voucher (subject to terms and conditions).
