The WhatHouse? team reports on our current favourite new home for sale right now – today, we pick a one-bedroom apartment at Cricket Field Grove, a Barratt Homes development in the village of Crowthorne in Berkshire.

It’s a perfect starter home is a block of one- and two-bedroom apartments. Plot 74 has an open-plan kitchen/living/dining room with a private balcony.
