Outdoor Attraction To Camden Apartments

Posted 16 November 2020 by Keith Osborne

A few apartments remain for sale at one of the borough's tallest buildings, with views of the capital from the roof terrace...

As demand for outside space grows, house-hunters in the popular London borough of Camden are turning their gaze skywards to bag their own slice of the great outdoors.

Chris Hood, sales director at Fairview New Homes, commented: “Over the last few weeks, enquiries at our Mode development in Camden have increased, with buyers attracted not only by its fantastic location close to Camden Town, but also for its spectacular private roof garden, which boasts incredible 360° views of the local area, across to Regents Park and London landmarks.

“We’ve seen outside space move to the top of the wish-list for many buyers, as well as close proximity to parks. Homeowners at Mode have it all, with access to the 193-sqm roof garden, as well as Regents Canal, Regents Park and Hampstead Heath close by.

“Perched high up above the street, on one of the tallest buildings in Camden, the residents’ rooftop terrace is covered in artificial grass, with wildflower planters and bench seating. It’s a really lovely spot to take a break, particularly from home working, and relax and enjoy coffee or lunch. There is no better place for sitting in the sun, feeling the breeze and watching a Camden sunset.”

Camden is a vibrant place to live, with an eclectic mix of shops, music, nightlife and dining. Mode is ideally located off the main drag and is accessed via a courtyard. Regent’s Canal, with its pedestrian and cycle routes and waterbus service is just a short stroll away at Camden Town, whilst Regents Park and London Zoo are nearby.

Neighbouring Primrose Hill, with its upmarket delis, chic eateries and fashion boutiques, is also a great place to explore. For keen walkers, joggers and cyclists, Hampstead Heath is around 1.5 miles away. It’s a great place for a stroll, followed by lunch in one of the wonderful local pubs.

The Camden Highline – which is set to open in a few years on the disused elevated railway lines– will be an exciting addition to the area, providing a green oasis to rival New York’s Highline and linking Camden with Kings Cross.

As befitting its surroundings, apartments at Mode are stylish and contemporary, with open plan living/kitchen/dining areas – some of which have Juliet balconies – high-end fitted kitchens and bathrooms and underfloor heating. Some of the apartments also come with allocated parking.

The development is around a six-minute walk from Camden Town Underground and 10 minutes from Camden Road Overground, meaning residents can be at Tottenham Court Road within around 13 minutes and Kings Cross St Pancras in 17 minutes.

Hood concluded: “Mode really is a hidden gem in this fabulous part of London. There are only seven two-bedroom apartments remaining. Prices of these have already been reduced, with prices starting from £675,000. We’re offering some fantastic deals, including Stamp Duty and legal fees paid, as well as £5,000 furniture packages. There are currently three new show homes available for sale.

“We’d encourage prospective buyers to get in touch to find out more about living at Mode and to make us an offer we can’t refuse.”
