David Wilson Homes is installing numerous wildlife-friendly features at its sought-after Stanneylands development...

David Wilson Homes has ‘taken a walk on the wild side’ and installed a number of wildlife friendly features at its Stanneylands development in Wilmslow.

With the installation of the new wildlife friendly features, prospective buyers of the development will be able to embrace nature and be a part of an inclusive community that welcomes residents of all species.

Stanneylands includes a number of amenities all with the aim of welcoming nature, including bat and bird boxes, a water vole habitat, species rich grassland and even a maintained wildlife corridor. The species present onsite include bats, newts, otters, kingfishers and more. The housebuilder also aims to introduce a number of animal friendly features within its sales arenas, with the goal of these being installed by the end of the year.

Robert Holbrook, managing director at David Wilson Homes North West, said: “We are delighted that our Stanneylands development has embraced nature and gives a home for not only prospective buyers, but a variety of different species. As a leading developer, it is necessary we do all we can to help welcome neighbouring wildlife and ensure that the environments in which we build are a safe place for a variety of species.”

Located in Little Stanneylands, the development features a collection of four-bedroom homes priced from £540,000, perfect for those with growing families looking to upsize. There are a variety of schooling options for all ages within a mile, including Lacey Green Primary School and Wilmslow High School, whilst relaxing days are never too far from home with Wilmslow town centre just a mile away.

The housebuilder’s Home of the Week is Plot 134, the ‘Bradgate’ house type, which is £615,000 and comes with £10,000 of kitchen and flooring upgrades. There’s a spacious kitchen/family/dining room with glazed walk-in bay and utility room, a separate lounge with feature bay window, dedicated downstairs study. All four bedrooms are doubles, with an en suite shower room to bedroom one, the others sharing a family bathroom. There’s a single garage and two parking spaces.

Working professionals will also benefit from living just 14 miles away from Manchester city centre and with Wilmslow station located within two miles, house hunters will be provided with convenient rail links up and down the country.
