Barratt Homes Partner With RSPB For Cheshire Wildlife Garden
Following a partnership agreement, the leading developer has worked in conjunction with renowned wildlife charity, the RSPB, to create nature friendly gardens at the development on Crewe Road.
Barratt Homes has been awarded five stars from the Home Builder Federation (HBF) for the tenth year in a row and is continuing its success by working with the RSPB to make show home gardens across its operational area wildlife friendly.
A variety of wildlife features are included in the gardens and it has received a Silver award from the RSPB following an assessment. These include bird and bee boxes, a hedgehog home, a hedgehog highway and a variety of bird feeders.
The outdoor space also features a scented garden, native hedgerow and wildflower turf. Barratt Homes has been partnered with the RSPB since 2014. The agreement is the first of its kind in the UK and aims to boost natural habitats at Barratt Homes’ developments across the country.
Graydon Worthing, Sales Director at Barratt Homes West Midlands, comments:
“We have been working with the RSPB for over six years now and the wildlife-friendly show garden initiative is one way the partnership is working to improve our approach to natural world around our developments."
“We’re really excited for our customers to see the new wildlife friendly show home gardens which represent the potential we have as home owners to do our bit for the environment. The development itself offers stunning views of the Cheshire countryside and nature reserve and really has to be seen to be fully appreciated."
“Hopefully the new gardens will be teeming with life this summer and anyone that comes to see them will be able to pick up some great tips for their new home.”
There are currently a range of four bedroom homes for sale at Needham’s Grange, priced from £245,995.
