95% Sold At East Lothian Development
Developer ZeroC has reported that they are nearly sold out at its Longniddry development, with some 95% of homes there already snapped up.
Longniddry Village is a development that is inspired by the archetypal East Lothian towns and villages, including using local traditional architecture and period features along with amenities, including a village green, restored mill pond and wildflower meadow. It’s ZeroC’s first development in this part of the country.
Located under 20 minutes from Edinburgh, the mix of two-bedroom coach houses and ther two-, three- and four-bedroom properties, all featuring sash windows and period features, has attracted a wide range of buyers with different budgets and requirements.
Most of the remaining homes are two-bedroom apartments. Plot 79 is called the ‘Nicol’, is located on the first floor and priced at £292,500. Plot 77 is another ‘Nicol’, this one on the ground floor and priced at £290,000. Plot 80 is called the ‘Robarts’ and is in the second floor, with a price tag of £297,500. All these have 832 sq ft of living space, with an open-plan kitchen/living/dining room, two double bedrooms (with en suite to bedroom one) and an allocated parking space. Plot 80 has the bonus of fitted wardrobes to bedroom one.
In addition, a three-bedroom detached house has just come back on the market. Named the ‘Blair’, the 1,256 sq ft of living space makes it a very comfortable size. The triple-aspect kitchen/dining/living room is a flexible size and there’s the delightful addition of a garden room at the rear, a brightly lit place to enjoy the outdoors from indoors. Also on this floor is a double bedroom with walk-in wardrobe, particularly welcome for people with limited accessibility. There’s also a separate shower room. Upstairs are two more double bedrooms, with the main one benefitting from an en suite bathroom and a large fitted wardrobe. Off the landing is also a useful storage cupboard, making maximum use of the floorplan. This house comes with a private garage and is priced at £480,000.
