Open House Events Soon Taking Place In East Lothian

Posted 8 November 2023 by Keith Osborne

Taylor Wimpey will be hosting free-to-attend house-hunter events at two developments later this month...

House-hunters in Haddington and Wallyford will get a chance to go ‘through the keyhole’ at two upcoming events with Taylor Wimpey East Scotland, as the housebuilder opens the doors to new homes that are almost complete and available for sale at two current developments.

An Open House event will take place at Letham Meadows on Sunday 19 November and there’s a similar event at Ravensheugh on Sunday 26 November. Both events will run from 11.00am until 4.00pm and there’s no need to make an appointment.

At Letham Meadows, on the edge of the popular town of Haddington, buyers will be able to step inside the impressive ‘Drummond’ (Plot 422) and ‘Hume’ (Plot 409) four-bedroom detached homes. The two new show homes – the ‘Blair’ three-bedroom detached and the ‘Stewart’ four-bedroom detached – will also be available to view and inspire buyers.

As well as its two new impressive four-bedroom detached show homes – the ‘Hume’ and the ‘Maxwell’ – the team at Ravensheugh in Wallyford will also throw open the doors to the ‘Geddes’ (Plot 736) four-bedroom detached home.

An independent mortgage specialist will also be available on-site at each event to provide prospective buyers with free advice on mortgages and the financial process of buying a new home.

Potential purchasers for either development can choose one of the helpful offers currently available on the new homes for sale in Haddington and Wallyford, with a choice of Part Exchange, a 5% deposit contribution, Taylor Wimpey’s Easymover scheme, LBTT paid, or monthly mortgage contribution.

An independent mortgage specialist will also be available on-site at each event to provide prospective buyers with free advice on mortgages and the financial process of buying a new home.

Kirsty McGill, sales and marketing director for Taylor Wimpey East Scotland, commented: “Our Open House events in Haddington and Wallyford are a great opportunity for potential buyers to walk around the inside of a new home that’s almost complete that they could be calling their own. It also means they can get a real feel for the layout of the house, its position within the development, and considerwhether it fits their requirements.

“We’ve found this type of event is helpful for buyers who can’t visualise what a property will look like from a floor plan, or they can’t interpret what their new home may look like from a visit to our show homes. Of course, show homes are also on hand to inspire buyers and showcase the lifestyle on offer at Letham Meadows and Ravensheugh. For buyers considering a new home and becoming part of the growing communities in Haddington or Wallyford, our events will give them a great opportunity to get a sense of where they feel most at home.”
