Final Few For Sale In Winchburgh

Posted 29 August 2023 by Keith Osborne

There are still some opportunities to buy a brand new family home at Auldcathie View from Taylor Wimpey...

With just a few new homes remaining at its popular Auldcathie View development, Taylor Wimpey East Scotland is encouraging buyers who would like to move this year to pop along to the development in Winchburgh to find out how they might complete this part of the growing community in West Lothian.

Located off Duntarvie Castle Road, Auldcathie View currently has just a handful of four-bedroom detached homes in a choice of three styles left for sale, with prices starting from £378,000.

Each one of these final homes enjoys a peaceful setting within the development, and every one of them has an upgraded kitchen and appliances, plus flooring is provided throughout, saving buyers thousands of pounds to ease their moving costs.

House-hunters can also take advantage of a choice of ways that Taylor Wimpey can help them to make their move to a new home at Auldcathie View including its Enhanced Easymover or Part Exchange schemes – whichever best suits their circumstances. Terms and conditions apply.

Enhanced Easymover can save buyers up to £20,000 in moving costs with access to all of the benefits that Taylor Wimpey already provides as part of its helpful and popular Easymover scheme, which offers buyers the opportunity to make use of its expertise in the property market to ensure the process of selling an existing property and buying a new home goes smoothly.

Buyers who qualify for the Enhanced Easymover scheme will also receive up to £12,000 in LBTT contribution, up to £3,000 in legal fees paid and Taylor Wimpey will also pay for removal and storage costs.

Buyers can move even if their property hasn’t sold; the scheme provides a guaranteed buyer and there are no estate agency fees to worry about.

Auldcathie View forms part of phase 2 of the wider Winchburgh masterplan that when complete will deliver at least 3,800 new homes, improved transport links, employment opportunities, and state-of-the-art schools. This impressive masterplan has already delivered a variety of local features for the benefit of the growing community including three new schools, a new neighbourhood retail centre, Auldcathie District Park, a new motorway junction on the M9 and the construction of a new marina is well underway.

The location of Auldcathie View within the overall masterplan vision for Winchburgh, is ideally situated to appeal to benefit from the range of new local amenities that have been delivered while also offering buyers the perfect balance of quiet rural life with the convenience of Edinburgh close by.

Kirsty McGill, sales and marketing director for Taylor Wimpey East Scotland, said: “As our final few homes are released for sale at Auldcathie View, it’s an ideal time for interested buyers to visit our show homes to get a feel for Winchburgh life as the masterplan continues to evolve and grow.

“While we do have a new development coming soon in another part of the masterplan, Auldcathie View is located closest to three new local schools – Winchburgh Academy, Holy Family Primary and the soon-to-open Sinclair Academy – meaning a short walk to school for families with school-age children choosing to call Auldcathie View home.”

Auldcathie View is open from Thursday to Monday, between 10.30am and 5.30pm. Find out more.
