Treasure hunts and tasty treats at Stewart Milne Homes’ developments this Easter

Posted 23 March 2016 by Helen Christie

Families are invited along to Stewart Milne Homes’ developments across the central belt this Easter weekend for an afternoon of treasure hunting and tasty treats.

Over Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 March, show homes will double-up as an Easter egg trail as kids go in search of hidden bunnies and chicks.

With the help of an Easter floorplan, kids will mark where the furry creatures are hiding in exchange for a chocolate treat. After the treasure hunt kids can also enter an Easter colouring competition while parents have a look around the show homes.

Stewart Milne Homes has seven developments across central Scotland all with a variety of home styles and prices. March is the perfect time to buy a new family home. Those looking to buy their first home can take advantage of the Governments Help to Buy scheme which allows reservations to be made on just a 5% deposit with a maximum of 15% of the value of the property paid by the government in an interest free loan. Stewart Milne Homes also offer a fantastic first time buyers package which gives buyers a choice of furniture, carpets, curtains and light fittings, plus a 40” plasma tv and home cinema system, for no extra cost.

For those looking to make the second step into a bigger home, the builder’s part exchange initiative can help, where a fair market value offer will be made on their existing home in under 5 days.

Marlyn Boal, sales and marketing director at Stewart Milne Homes says: “Getting the whole family involved in the buying process of a home can be really beneficial. Our Easter fun will keep the kids entertained while parents can get a feel for life at our developments.”

The Easter activity will be taking place at Laird’s Gate, Stewarton; Greenwood Manor, Newton Mearns; Ardgowan Rise, Inverkip; Earl’s Green, Barassie in the West and Hopefield View, Bonnyrigg; Devon Lane, Winchburgh and The Courtyard, Dunblane in the East.

Show homes will be open from 10.30am to 5.30pm over the Easter weekend.
