Two Imminent Launches For Thames Valley House-Hunters

Posted 22 January 2021 by Keith Osborne

Developers Slough Urban Renewal and Countryside are unveiling new apartment collections in the next few days...

The next few days will see a new range of homes being unveiled in two popular and well-connected towns west of London.

The sales and marketing suite at Novus Apartments in Slough will be opening its doors on Monday 25 January. Interested purchasers will have an opportunity to book a tour of the two new show apartments, on an individual, appointment-only basis.

Novus Apartments is the latest collection of homes to be delivered by Slough Urban Renewal (SUR) and comprises 64 studio, one- and two-bedroom apartments in a central location in the town. They form part of the former library site, which is being transformed into a new destination, comprising residential, retail and leisure.

Andy Howell, general manager, Slough Urban Renewal (SUR) said: “This is an exciting time for us, as we launch these new apartments to the market. Novus Apartments enjoys a fantastic location –being just a short walk from the town centre, as well as the station and Slough’s great transports connections. What’s more, with the huge regeneration that has already taken place – this area of town has a lot to offer. You have The Curve, Slough’s iconic library and cultural centre across the road and next door the new Moxy and Residence Inn Hotels soon to open their doors plus a range of great leisure facilities in the borough.”

While government health and safety guidance is strictly adhered to for attending the sales and marketing suite and show homes (open Thursday to Monday, 9.00am to 5.00pm), for those who would prefer not to travel at this time SUR are able to offer virtual viewings.

Prices at Novus Apartments start from £199,950, with the first completions this Spring. Find out more at [email protected] or www.novusapartments.co.uk.

House-hunters are also being invited to take a close look at The Aspect Collection at Watermark, Countryside’s new development in Maidenhead, where a new two-bedroom show home designed by Danish stylists BoConcept opens on Saturday 23 January.

This new phase of the development comprises two- and three-bedroom apartment, all of which boast either dual or triple aspects.

The development involves the regeneration of Library Square with 30,000 sq ft of restaurant, café and community space. This space extends out onto terraced seating with views of York Stream. When completed, there will also be 229 new one-, two- and three-bedroom homes. The development is in the town centre and in easy reach of all its shops and amenities, and the station, with regular services between London Paddington and Reading.

Prices for The Aspect Collection start from £470,000, but there can be significant saving for buyers because Countryside is running a 5% deposit contribution incentive on these homes. On selected plots reserved by Sunday 31 January, there is also a furniture offer, of which more can be learned from the sales team.

The marketing office is open by appointment only for in-person and virtual viewings seven days a week. Find out more at www.countrysideproperties.com or [email protected].
