Exclusive Shared Ownership Homes To Launch In Hertfordshire

Posted 18 March 2021 by Keith Osborne

Just four apartments at an exclusive development in Bushey Heath are about to be released under the Shared Ownership scheme...

With Shared Ownership sales soaring over the past few years, first-time house-hunters in Hertfordshire will be pleased to hear that an exclusive new collection of apartments available on a part buy-part rent basis is about to be released in well-to-do Bushey Heath.

In partnership with luxury housebuilder Consero, St Arthur Homes is soon to launch four one- and two-bedroom apartments at Heathbourne Village. They are set within a private gated community with architectural design inspired by local traditional styles combined with versatile interiors and a luxurious interior specification. Kitchens come complete with a selection of integrated Siemens appliances including a combination oven with warming drawer and induction hob, integrated wine fridge and compartmentalised recycling storage bins. All bedrooms are finished with carpets and bespoke fitted wardrobes, and bathrooms are finished with a distinctive hotel-style feel and chrome detailing.

Heathbourne Village is just a short walk from the town centre. Residents benefit from secure entrance gates with number plate recognition, secure parking with potential for electric charging points. There are boulevards throughout the development and communal gardens accessible via French doors to the ground floor apartments, with a balcony/terrace to the ground-floor homes.

Louise Mills, sales and marketing director for St Arthur Homes, commented: “We are very excited to bring to the market these four beautiful Shared Ownership apartments at Heathbourne Village in partnership with Consero London. This is a truly unique collection of homes that gives first-time buyers the chance to purchase a stunning new home that comes with an impressive specification, in an attractive location. At St Arthur Homes we are passionate about offering inspiring homes that are affordable without the need for buyers to make compromises on specification or location. With only four homes available we expect demand to be high and would urge any prospective purchasers to register their details as soon as possible.”

These new homes are a short walk from Bushey Heath itself, while attractive Bushey Village, which showcases the epitome of village living with an attractive high street and duck pond, is a little further on. For a day of retail therapy, Hertfordshire’s retail destination Intu at Watford is a short drive away and offers more than 140 shops, restaurants and leisure attractions including a Cineworld and Hollywood Bowl. Places such as Stanmore Common, Merry Hill and Bentley Priory Nature Reserve offer green spaces to explore while for keen golfers there are three golf clubs nearby, and Bushey Grove Leisure Centre is ideal for a morning workout or an evening swim.

Residents who need access to easy travel links are well catered for. If travelling by car, junction 4 of the M1 is less than two miles from Heathbourne Village, as well as links to the A1 and A41. For travel into London, Bushey train station is just over two miles away and provides direct services into London Euston in under half an hour. Other routes include Harrow and Wealdstone and Watford Junction, or from Elstree and Borehamwood there are Thameslink services to London St Pancras. There is also a bus network that serves the local area.

Prices for Shared Ownership homes at Heathbourne Village start from £158,000 for a 40% share of a one-bedroom apartment priced at £395,000. Find out more at www.starthurhomes.com.
