New Homes Forming Part Of Sheffield Redevelopment

Property firm Solomon New Homes is bringing its expertise to Sheffield with its latest addition in modern urban living, The Lock.

The once car park is being developed into a modern contemporary apartment block which will feature 61 units made up of five studios, 48 one-bedroom and eight two-bedroom apartments, set out over five storeys.

Designed to attract working professionals, The Lock is to be a part of a series of developments throughout Sheffield set to create 25,000 job by 2024, along with 33,000 higher skilled jobs by 2040.

Apartment interiors at have been designed by award-winning interior designer Kate Kingston (owner of Kingston Shaw Interior Design). The apartments have been designed to reflect the bustling Sheffield lifestyle along with the city's rich industrial heritage and history. Walls are all finished with an emulsion in a warm grey shade as well as soft matt white skirting boards and door frames finished with contemporary brushed chrome handles. Open-plan living areas are designed to allow as much natural light into the building as possible. All apartments feature the latest homeware appliances for modern living.

Prices start from £145,000, with the development on track for a Q3 2023 completion date.
