New Homes In Oldmeldrum Set For Completion

Posted 2 January 2024 by Keith Osborne

Scotia Homes has announced that several houses at Chapelpark will be ready to move into in January 2024...

Scotia Homes is letting house-hunters keen to make a move to a brand new home as soon as possible in 2024 know that a number of properties at its Chapelpark development in Oldmeldrum in Aberdeenshire will be ready to move into this month.

Chapelpark is a collection of three- and four-bedroom new homes for sale in the historic village, situated in the scenic countryside around 18 miles north-west of the centre of Aberdeen. It is the first development in Scotland and second in the UK to be awarded the prestigious Silver award by the NextGeneration Project – the sustainability benchmarking system for UK housebuilders. The properties come with modern timber facades, large anthracite windows and white render.

One of the house types heading for completion in the next few weeks is called the ‘Harkwood’, and there are two examples of it on Plots 23 and 24 . These semi-detached properties are both priced from £244,950. Most of the ground floor is an open-plan kitchen/dining/living room, but there’s a cloakroom too and the bonus of a utility room from which the rear garden can be reached. Upstairs are three bedrooms (two with built-in wardrobes) and a family bathroom.

The four-bedroom ‘Calder GR’ on Plot 43 has just had its price reduced by £20,000 to £369,950. This detached house comes with an integral single bedroom/utility area. Off the hallway at the front of the home is a lounge, and at the rear is a spacious open-plan kitchen/dining room with an additional dual-aspect garden room with sliding doors to the outside. Three of the four double bedrooms come with fitted wardrobes, while bedroom one has an en suite and fitted dressing area. The family bathroom comes with tub and walk-in shower.

The show home and marketing suite are open by appointment from Thursday 4 January 2024. Find out more about Chapelpark from Scotia Homes.
