Developer Sees Pent-Up Demand For Bungalows In Rutland

Posted 15 October 2021 by Keith Osborne

RoyaleLife is hosting an event this weekend for over-50s buyers looking for new build single-storey living...

Specialist development RoyaleLife is reporting pent-up demand for its homes at its age-exclusive Royale Ranksborough Hall development in Rutland.

Research from RoyaleLife has shown that the effects of the pandemic has led to baby-boomers reassessing their lives – especially if they’ve struggled financially in the past 18 months – and this is one of the key drivers for the increased interest in a more affordable home.

And thanks to its highly respected Home Part Exchange Scheme, prospective purchasers could be in their new home for Christmas.

The residential bungalows at Royale Ranksborough Hall - with a starting price of £185,000 – are now being released for sale at an exclusive, appointment-only VIP event this weekend (Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 October) at the sought-after location. This development is just 10 minutes from the market town of Oakham, which boasts a wide selection of shops and restaurants. Rutland Water Nature Reserve is only a short drive away and Melton Mowbray, the rural capital of food and home of the Melton Mowbray pork pie, is nearby.

Set within landscaped grounds, these brand new bungalows, exclusively for the over-50s, are all fully furnished with their own garden and private parking – it’s the perfect place to live surrounded by like-minded neighbours.

Robert Bull is the chief executive of RoyaleLife. He said his company’s findings were supported by research across the financial sector, and continued: “The over-50s reassessing their lives frequently involves moving out of the family property into a smaller, more manageable home. The prospect of freeing up cash is often a big motivator.

“At RoyaleLife we have a solution for people: one where retirees and those planning their later years can safely profit from selling their now too-large family homes and creating a nest egg to draw on in retirement. The key to their happiness, though, is that they can also continue to enjoy all the benefits of a lovely, luxuriously furnished home while living in a wonderful, supportive community. Royale Ranksborough Hall offers that opportunity.”

“More than that, prospective buyers could move into their dream home by Christmas,” explained Mr Bull. “Our Home Part Exchange Scheme means that we could get people moving within six weeks. As an added incentive they could also enter our bungalow promotion and win a £100,000 tax free.”

By choosing Home Part Exchange, buyers can receive 100% market value for their current home while paying no stamp duty, agent or solicitors’ fees. In the vast majority of cases, the cost of the buyer’s new RoyaleLife bungalow is less than their existing property, meaning they also receive a significant lump sum of cash from the sale of their old home. For example, someone selling a £300,000 home to buy a £225,000 RoyaleLife bungalow would do so without any fees and unlock £75,000 in cash.

The Home Part Exchange Scheme means buyers are able to move much faster, with some RoyaleLife residents getting into their new bungalow as soon as four weeks after enquiring. RoyaleLife offers secure living with a thriving community atmosphere in some of the best locations in the country.
