Redrow – a multiple winner of prestigious WhatHouse? Awards – has announced the launch of two new collections of homes in popular parts of Hampshire.
Eighty-one new homes have been unveiled at Harbour Views in Havant. Balancing town, coast and country life, Harbour Views is situated on the outskirts of South Downs National Park, with easy access to both Portsmouth and Chichester. London is less than two hours away on the A3.
Now available to purchase, initially the homes are to be sold from Redrow’s nearby Hampshire community in Liphook, called Maple Walk.
With many different house types available, homes at Harbour Views are suitable for a range of different buyers, from upsizers to downsizers alike. Each property benefits from the renowned high standards of a Redrow home, with the Heritage Collection famously combining quaint exteriors with bespoke modern fittings. Homes in Harbour Views come equipped with underfloor heating, as well as air source heat pumps, to increase energy efficiency. Open-plan living, kitchen and dining areas reflect the flexibility and multi-tasking of modern living, while well-appointed gardens allow owners to bring some of the iconic countryside into their own homes.
Mark Vanson, sales director at Redrow Southern Counties, commented: “We’re thrilled to be launching a new development in Havant. Bringing a new community together is always a special moment for us and Harbour Views is no different – we’re so pleased to be able to give buyers a unique opportunity to live so close to some of the UK’s most stunning scenery and coastlines.”
“Our homes have been designed to bring people together, and with the open space both inside and out, homeowners will be able to entertain, have a cosy night-in, or spend time with their families. Perfect for upsizers, downsizers, or even first-time buyers, there is something for everyone here, in a location that truly goes above and beyond.”
A second phase of the development is set to be launched, comprising more properties from Redrow’s award-winning Heritage Collection, which brings the classic style of the 19th-century Arts & Crafts movement into a timeless modern setting. Prices begin at £419,950 for a three-bedroom home.

Brand new homes launch in Farnborough
Redrow has also launched Vale Croft Woods, their new community of three-, four- and five-bedroom homes in Farnborough. Residents of the 176 new homes at Vale Croft Woods will be close to the town centre and just down the road from lush open spaces such as Elvetham Heath Nature Reserve and Ash Ranges Nature Reserve.
Parents will also be pleased to hear that Farnborough and the surrounding area offer a wide selection of schools that are highly regarded by Ofsted. There are three located just ten minutes from the development rated ‘Outstanding’ by the governing body.
Transport connections from the new collection of homes are excellent – with the M3 just ten minutes away, residents will be able to reach Basingstoke within 26 minutes, Southampton in an hour and central London in an hour and 18 minutes by car. From Farnborough railway station – just an eight minute drive from the development – Woking can be reached in 13 minutes), Clapham Junction in 34 minutes and London Waterloo in 37 minutes.
As with Harbour Views, the new collection of homes are part of Redrow’s award-winning Heritage Collection. Some plots at Vale Croft Woods are self-build, allowing off-plan buyers to customise their property to suit their needs, choosing between an ‘Oxford’ or ‘Oxford Lifestyle’ home. This gives purchasers the flexibility to make sure their home is right for them.
These new homes at Vale Croft Woods are available now from nearby Redrow community Cromwell Court in Old Basing, on the outskirts of Basingstoke. Four reservations have already been made.
Mark Vanson commented: “We are so excited to launch our collection of new homes at Vale Croft Woods. We’re thrilled to be giving homebuyers an opportunity to purchase in such a sought-after, stunning area with so much to see, do and offer.
“With the abundance of fantastic amenities, green space and brilliant schooling options that surround the homes, we expect to see this development be popular with those who are looking to nurture and grow a family. Due to easy links to local cities, or London itself, it is also a great place for those commuting for work, while also raising a family.”
Guide prices start from £599,950 for a four-bedroom ‘Windsor’ home. The next phase of homes due to be delivered at Vale Croft Woods is planned for Spring 2024.
All buyers at both developments needing to sell their current home can take advantage of Redrow’s Help to Sell scheme at no extra cost. Redrow will arrange up to three appraisals of the former property while contributing to estate agent fees, ensuring the process runs as smoothly as possible. For first-time buyers, Redrow is offering advice and support to help them step onto the property ladder with a zero- or low-deposit mortgage such as the scheme recently launched by Skipton Building Society.
