New Apartments Launch At North London Development
Posted 11 September 2023 by
Helen ChristieRedrow will be launching a brand new release of apartments at Colindale Gardens, its bustling flagship community at the site of the former Metropolitan Police training centre in North London.
The latest launch features a collection of 56 studio, one- and two-bedroom homes which will sit across three buildings in the Dianthus Collection; Dahlia House, Diascia House and Darmera House.
Jody Bryant, director of sales at Redrow Greater London, says: “Colindale is fast becoming a new destination for Northwest London, and we’re excited to see the latest phase of our flagship community come to life. This launch very much marks the halfway point of Colindale Gardens, and we’re delighted that just over 2000 people now call the community home.”
All of the new apartments in the Dianthus Collection will offer an open-plan kitchen and living room creating an inviting, practical space. The kitchen will feature modern integrated appliances and smart soft close cabinets, with the option of personalising kitchens and bathroom colours at certain build stages.
Every single newly launched apartment will feature outdoor space, whether that’s a private balcony or terrace, allowing residents to enjoy the outdoors and the beautiful green spaces of Colindale Gardens from the comfort of their own homes. Residents at Darmera House will have access to a residents-only landscaped podium garden.
Set across 47 acres, a fifth of the land at Colindale Gardens is dedicated to open green spaces for residents and the surrounding community to enjoy, including communal gardens, cycle paths, walkways, and attractive landscaping. All residents of the newly launched homes will also have access to a 24-hour concierge and outdoor play areas and exercise equipment.
Colindale is also undergoing a transformation, with significant investment funding, and will bring new high-quality homes, amenities, services, facilities, and transport upgrades to both Colindale and the surrounding areas of Brent Cross, West Hendon and Cricklewood. There are also plans for local shops, cafés, and restaurants at Colindale Gardens to help create a vibrant new destination, as well as a health centre that will provide essential community facilities on residents’ doorsteps.

Colindale Gardens is a short stroll from Colindale Station on the Northern Line, with access to both the West End and the City in under half an hour.
Jody Bryant continues: “Our homes at Colindale Gardens are excellent value and of a high specification. With Help to Buy no longer an option for those looking for a way to get onto the property ladder, we want to make taking that first step as smooth as possible by offering contributions towards deposits. The Dianthus Collection will sit within the thoughtfully designed communal areas and elegant gardens that are always bustling with residents meeting with friends and family. The community has been designed with today’s urban lifestyle in mind, balancing access to the capital alongside gorgeous green spaces.”
The homes in the Dianthus Collection are due to complete in Autumn 2024.
One-bedroom properties start at £380,000, with two-bedroom homes starting from £490,000.
