Families Come First At Wembley Park Developments

Posted 25 August 2022 by Helen Christie

Quintain Living shows how Wembley Park could tick all the boxes for those looking for a home to raise a family in London…

Wembley Park not only has an impressive offering of local amenities, but a huge amount of community support.

It means that parents living with Quintain Living, the award-winning management company overseeing the rental of more than 3,250 apartments in the Wembley Park neighbourhood, have everything they need on hand for family members of all ages to enjoy…

Landsby

One of Quintain Living’s developments is the Landsby, Scandi-inspired apartments with their sprawling gardens and friendly village vibe (Landsby means ‘village’ in Danish) which were designed with families in mind, from top to bottom. The rooftop, in fact, is home to a park space and play area created to appeal to residents of all ages. Delivered by Duncan & Grove, the space consists of a maze and climbable seating at various heights.

Lewis Humphries, sales and contracts manager, Duncan & Grove Ltd, says: “The unique rooftop podium provides a space for all ages. The idea was to create a rooftop park that mirrored the simply beautiful modern architecture of the surrounding area. The equipment is made from naturally durable oak beams providing amazing longevity for such a natural material.”

Canada Gardens

Canada Gardens (Quintain Living)

Canada Gardens is an urban country oasis with over an acre of greenspace and hireable allotment beds where children can connect with nature and grow anything from tomatoes to sunflowers. There’s also a pirate ship playpark to inspire their imaginations and keep them fit and healthy, while on rainy days they can enjoy the indoor wonders of Emily’s playhouse from conceptual interior designers, Fossey Arora, with its magical lighting and treasure trove of toys and activities: “For younger residents, we created a stunning indoor playroom. It’s a beautiful space, designed with children at the core. Even the lighting is distinctive, providing a fairy tale-esque feeling and creating the perfect atmosphere for little imaginations to flourish. Children can feel like they have entered another world, where their imaginations can take flight.”

The Robinson

At The Robinson development, children have a wooden playground in which to burn off their energy, nestled in the middle of the festival-inspired gardens, or they can take a turn down the 7m slide on the rooftop courtyard.

Quintain Living is about the wider neighbourhood as well. In Elvin Gardens, parents can sit and sip a much-needed coffee while children climb for hours around the honeycomb climbing frame. And outside London Designer Outlet, there’s an all-weather play park complete with twin climbing frame towers designed by Russell Play to reflect the original towers of Wembley Stadium.

Quintain Living’s children also have the excitement of Union Park on their doorstep. The southern section of the park is already open and providing enjoyment for visitors of all ages. There’s an outdoor gym, a multi-use games court (currently set up for tennis) and an urban meadow, wildlife pond and bee and insect hotel to fascinate youngsters with a love of nature. There’s a wooden playground for staying active and a paddling pool for creating magical family memories. The fountains in Arena Square are also popular with little ones looking to splash the hours away during the summer months.

Danielle Bayless, chief operating officer, Quintain Living, says: “Children can enjoy being children in Wembley Park, whether that means going tadpole-spotting, picnicking in the park or climbing, running, swinging and sliding until they run out of daylight! The array of facilities on offer means that there’s something to suit each child and each family.”

Support is always on hand from fellow parents in Wembley Park. Every week at community centre The Yellow, parents meet at Daniel’s Den Parent and Toddler Group to share skills and form friendships while their little ones play, sing and craft, while there’s also a monthly Dad’s Zone session. For Quintain Living residents, there’s also an active parent and baby group available on the residents’ app.

Quintain Living residents with pre-school children also have the new, flagship Canopy Children’s Nursery on their doorstep. For school-age children, outstanding-rated primary, secondary and sixth form options are all available under a mile from Wembley Park. Wembley Park’ also has a vast array of child-friendly dining options, including Pizza Express, Frankie & Benny’s, Nando’s, TGI Friday’s and Pasta Remol.

Danielle concludes: “Both Quintain Living and the wider Wembley Park neighbourhood have a huge amount to offer families. Keeping youngsters entertained is child’s play thanks to the wealth of amenities and resources that parents have at their disposal, along with access to outstanding childcare and education options. Families come first at Quintain Living.”
