Open Day for New Homes In ‘Best Place In Wales’ This Saturday
Pure Homes is inviting house-hunters seeking a high-quality new home in north Wales to attend an Open Day this weekend for two of its Denbighshire developments.
The event is a joint one between the Cae Mair scheme in Ruthin and the Cae Topyn scheme in Denbigh, taking place on Saturday 29 April between 11.00am and 2.00pm.
Ruthin, situated in corner of the Vale of Clwyd, was recently voted the Best Place to Live in Wales by the Sunday Times. The judges said: “This beautiful, historic provides the very best of small-town living. It may look sleepy from the outside but scratch the surface and it’s a hive of activity.
“The market hall is the place for food and craft markets and pop-up restaurants, a disused bank has been converted into a repair café and the old courthouse is now a visitor hub and co-working space. There are all kinds of interesting independent businesses, producing everything from ice cream to roads.”
There are seven remaining plots at Cae Mair– five of ‘The Claremont’, priced at £399,950 and including the development’s show home, and two plots of ‘The Kensington’, priced at £419,950 and £409,950. These new homes are in a village setting less than two miles from the centre of Ruthin and boasting far-reaching views of the Clwydian Hills countryside. The village has a newly built primary school and a vibrant local pub, all within easy walking distance, and the market town has a host of features which have led to its prestigious No.1 ranking, including high-performing state and independent schools, a sports centre, essential services, and a great variety of places to enjoy a day or night out. Eryn National Park is just half-an-hour away. The likes of Wrexham, St Asaph and Chester can all be reached within 30-40 minutes.
Of the area, Martin Adams from Pure Homes’ sales team said: “Personally, I am an outdoor person along with my family, so the walks available in the Clwyddian mountain and valleys are superb, and in Ruthin town centre there are wonderful attractions including the castle and Grade 1 listed Gaol (Victorian prison) and facilities for everyone, along with restaurants, cafés, bars, and pubs for socialising. The scenery, architecture and attractions make it a fantastic place for everyone, it is no wonder it was voted No.1 place to live in Wales!”
A few miles north, Cae Topyn in Denbigh has been so popular that there are now just three homes remaining for sale there, all of them detached four-bedroom houses: one of ‘The Kensington’ on plot 2 at £399,950, and two of ‘The Sandhurst’, one of which is the show house, with both priced at £410,950. The development comprises an appealing mix of two-, three- and four-bedroom homes of different types such as bungalows, townhouses, and semi-detached and detached houses. Residents here will also have some excellent countryside views. Historical Denbigh has plenty of shops, amenities, and places to eat and drink, as well as schools for all ages. It’s around five miles to the A55 and 25 minutes to Prestatyn and its well-served railway station.
