Extension Of Offer Period On Housebuilder’s Bristol Homes

Posted 20 January 2023 by Keith Osborne

Persimmon offers a lovely range of houses in the Bristol area which have had special offers extended to the end of February 2023...

Persimmon Homes has extended its choice of offers to buyers of new homes at a number of its current developments in Bristol, with potential financial benefits worth thousands of pounds.

The offer is available, subject to terms and conditions, on properties reserved by 28 February 2023. Qualifying buyers can choose between the offer of living mortgage-free for the first ten months of living in their new home, or taking up the offer of 105% Part Exchange, meaning a bonus on top of the independent valuation of their existing property.

Dramway Fields is the latest phase in the popular area of Lyde Green on the north-eastern outskirts of Bristol. Amenities nearby include a convenience store and primary school within walking distance, and it’s just a mile from Emersons Green Retail Park for some large shops and several places to eat. Right now, there are a few two-bedroom homes for sale here, great options for first-time buyers or downsizers in particular. Prices start at £280,000 for ‘The Arden’, but if your budget can stretch to £355,000, ‘The Danbury’ could be a preferred choice – compared to the cheaper home, this has a lounge separate from the kitchen, and an en suite and storage to bedroom one. There’s also a ‘lifestyle room’, an extra space that might make a good nursery or home office.

For larger homes, Moorland Grove, situated in the popular Lawrence Weston area, is around eight miles from the city centre and providing 75 houses on a former school site. The M4 and M5 are both easy to reach. There are currently three-bedroom homes for sale here. From £299,995, ‘The Hanbury’ is semi-detached and comes with private parking. The living room leads to the kitchen/dining room, which in turn leads to the garden through French doors. Upstairs are the bathroom, two double bedrooms (one en suite) and a single bedroom. From £329,995, there’s an example of three-storey living in ‘The Souter’, which has a lounge at the front, kitchen/diner at the rear, the bathroom and two bedrooms on the first floor and an en suite bedroom on the top floor.

Back to Lyde Green, and The Croft is delivering a range of two-, three- and four-bedroom homes that benefit from local amenities and great connectivity in the M4 and M32, as well as being only 15miutes from the Cotswolds. From £405,000, ‘The Chatsworth’ is an example of a house type with integral garage. The kitchen/dining room is bright and has French doors to the garden, while the lounge looks out of the front of the home. The generous main bedroom has an en suite shower room, and the other two bedrooms share the family bathroom. Top of the list here right now is ‘The Chedworth’, from £525,000 and as you might expect, this is a notable double-fronted detached house. There’s a utility room of the kitchen/diner, and separate living and dining rooms. Off the landing upstairs are the four bedrooms (one with en suite), the family bathroom and two useful storage cupboards.
