First Of 1,100 New Homes Launched At Fishpool Development
Persimmon is opening the door to homeownership for more families in Bristol with the launch of a new site in Fishpool, near Cribbs Causeway.
Beaufort Park will provide 1,100 new homes for local people with a range of three- and four-bedroom houses and has been designed for a wide cross-section of buyers including first-time buyers, growing families and those looking to downsize.
Commenting on the launch of the site, Cllr Brian Hopkinson, local councillor for Charlton and Cribbs, said: “We know there is strong demand for new houses in the area, but it’s vital these are delivered in a sustainable manner, with significant investment by homebuilders in local infrastructure, facilities and amenities. I’m pleased to say Persimmon is investing over £20 million pounds in the local community.”
The housebuilder will transfer land to the local authority for one new primary school, nursery centre, multi-use community facility including provision for a youth centre and retail use. Land for a new railway station and a new access road off the A4018 has also been secured, while the site will be home to outdoor sports facilities such as two sports pitches, pavilion, multi-use games area and neighbourhood equipped play area. There will also be an area of public open space for children, with green corridors to support local wildlife, while 5,300sqm of allotments will also be available to residents.
Commenting on the launch of the site, Persimmon Homes Severn Valley sales director Carly Spear said: “Whether you’re in search of your first home or are looking for more space for your growing family, this great location at Fishpool has something to suit everyone. There is a wide range of support available for customers, including Persimmon’s own Mortgage Support offer, Part Exchange and Home Change schemes. Our on-site Customer Hub at Beaufort Park is open five days week from Thursday to Monday between the hours of 11.00am to 6.00pm, and we stand ready to help you with everything you want from a new home in Bristol.”
Prices at the development currently range from £379,995 to £420,000.
