House-hunter interest in the new homes market in England has been growing quickly over the last few weeks, and housebuilders are announcing more and more launches for ‘virtual’ and first-hand viewings.

Here, we take a look at a range of imminent events and dates for the diary on new homes around the country.

 

Keyworth, Nottinghamshire

Gymnast and Olympic medallist Sam Oldham is set to help Miller Homes virtually launch its latest East Midlands development, Spinners Croft in Keyworth, is planning a host of exclusive content online and across its social media channels throughout the day on Thursday 25 June. He grew up in Keyworth and will be taking potential buyers on a guided video walk around the village, pointing out some of his favourite spots.

The housebuilder will also be unveiling its new four-bedroom ‘Astwood’ show home with a virtual tour. There will also be three expert question and answer sessions throughout the day on Miller Homes’ social media channels, featuring finance expert Lisa Burns-Kent from independent financial advisor Meridian Mortgages, interior designer Suzanne Thomas from Blocc Interiors and one of Miller Homes’ own sales specialists.

Spinners Croft, situated on Platt Lane, features 187 two-, three-, four- and five-bedroom homes, including a selection of bungalows.

Broadway, Worcestershire

Spitfire Bespoke Homes is unveiling a new show home at Highworth, its exclusive development in the Cotswold village of Broadway. A range of 74 two- to five-bedroom detached, semi-detached and terraced residences there are inspired by traditional Cotswold architecture, within easy reach of the villages shops and amenities as well as the delightful countryside.

Sandbach, Cheshire

Broadmeadow ParkLatimer, the development arm of Clarion Housing Group will welcome prospective buyers onto site when it opens the doors to its 165 home Sandbach development later this month, implementing appointment-only socially distanced viewings of its Broadmeadow Park development from late June. It has also installed tech hubs in its marketing suite to provide extra precautions for viewings, through the use of an interactive touchscreen.

The development will be a mix of two-, three-, four- and five-bedroom homes, with options for sale and Shared Ownership. Prices are to be announced.

Harrow, London

With homes delivered by Hill and Origin Housing, Harrow One has been launched, offering 119 new homes for private sale across two buildings, private balconies with scenic views of the London skyline. The £70million development is part funded by the GLA, which has committed £25million from the Mayor of London’s Housing Zones initiative.

Rebecca Littler, group sales and marketing director at Hill, comments: “One fifth of the borough is dedicated to green spaces, which also makes Harrow a very appealing place to live, with the advantage of excellent transport connections to central London. Devizes, Cornwall

Two properties are opening their doors at a new housing Bellway South West development in Devizes in July. Quakers Walk will have a new show home and a view home, available to view by appointment only, with additional safety measures in place.

The show home is a four-bedroom ‘Wroughton’ house type, that benefits from an open-plan kitchen/family room, a separate living room, a dining room, and en suite shower rooms to bedrooms one and two. Homes in this design are currently available to reserve priced from £469,995. Acton, London

The VerdeanMount Anvil has unveiled the first homes at The Verdean, a regeneration site creating nearly 1,000 new homes. The initial launch is of 160 homes in a 24-storey building, with a mix of studio, one- and two-bedroom apartments for sale, with prices starting at £369,000.

Jon Hall, group sales director at Mount Anvil, commented: “There will be ample green spaces, from eco-walks and outdoor gyms to the podium gardens and rooftop gardens. Middle Deepdale, North Yorkshire

Kebbell is now accepting early bird reservations in the fourth phase of Cornelian Fields, a collection of two-, three- and four-bedroom homes situated three miles south of Scarborough, with its wealth of shops, amenities and things to do. There are two beaches within walking distance of these homes: Cayton Bay beach is a sandy beach with dramatic cliffs; and Cornelian Bay is a rocky beach, perfect for rock pooling.

Shanly Homes has launched a new scheme, Tilbury Lodge, where homes are available to purchase with London Help to Buy in the sought-after commuter hotspot of Croydon. Taylor Wimpey will hold a virtual launch for St Crispins Place on Thursday 25 and Friday 26 June. It delivers 118 homes, with a selection of two-, three-, four- and five-bedroom properties available from launch. The development is not open to the public but people can speak to the sales executives and take a virtual tour.
