Final Few Homes Remaining At West Byfleet Development

Posted 26 January 2024 by Helen Christie

Octagon’s flagship development Broadoaks Park in West Byfleet is now 90% sold…

Broadoaks Park in West Byfleet, is the flagship development by luxury housebuilder Octagon.

Comprising 126 homes, a mix of Grade II Listed conversions and new build homes, the exclusive development is now 90% sold, with just a limited number of two- to six-bedroom homes remaining.

Broadoaks Park is set in 25 acres with vast areas of communal green spaces for residents to enjoy, which, coupled with West Byfleet’s links into the capital, has resulted in its sales success since launching in 2019. Work on the award-winning development is set to complete this year.

A significant landmark within Broadoaks Park, Octagon’s expert in-house team are currently transforming the Grade II Listed Mansion House, which will see the historic building, dating back to 1876, house two expansive five- and six-bedroom homes. Retaining and meticulously restoring as much of its 19th-century charm as possible in addition to delivering a modern finish of exception quality, the Listed homes will be complete with open-plan living spaces and a high-quality specification, seamlessly blending classic and contemporary design.

Tim Banks, CEO of The Octagon Group comments: “Broadoaks Park has been one of our most successful sites to date – testament not only to our intrinsic understanding of our clientele, but also our craftmanship. As we near completion, the Octagon team is looking forward to revealing the Mansion House, a remarkable project that has generated significant interest and enthusiasm. We are working to restore and replicate the property in a way that reflects and enhances its impressive past, yet provides all the essentials for luxurious modern-day living.”

Just a handful of homes remain at Broadoaks Park, offering prospective buyers a final opportunity to purchase a home at this exclusive Surrey estate.

Homes are built to Octagon’s high standards, with sustainability considerations front of mind. Mechanical Ventilation Heat Recovery (MVHR) systems, using an air-to-air heat exchanger to recover heat that is usually wasted, and Photovoltaic Panels are installed, lowering the development’s carbon footprint and allowing homes to generate some of their own energy, providing a 19% improvement in energy compliance and ultimately reducing bills. EV charging points, or the provision to install one, are standard with every home.

Broadoaks Park has plenty to do on the doorstep and beyond, with West Byfleet home to artisan bakeries, fine dining restaurants and cosy pubs, as well as amenities including a Waitrose and rows of independent cafes and restaurants, whilst the Basingstoke Canal and Wey Navigation provide picturesque walks. The current local scene alongside the redevelopment of nearby Sheer House, which is set to comprise an attractive pedestrianised square encircled by a curated selection of boutique shops, will give residents plenty to explore.

The development is well connected, with West Byfleet’s fast rail service (from 28mins) to London Waterloo, and road users have close access to the A3 and M25.

Guide Prices for the final homes at Broadoaks Park start from £750,000 for a two-bedroom apartment and houses up to £2,200,000. The sales suite is open Monday – Friday, 10am – 4pm.
