New waterside homes coming to Uxbridge this Friday

Posted 12 October 2016 by Keith Osborne

Owner-occupiers and investors may be interested in a new development by the Grand Union Canal that is available off-plan from this Friday...

Friday afternoon sees the launch of the latest development of new homes in Uxbridge, when buyers can take a first detailed look at a collection of apartments on the banks of the Grand Union Canal.

Developer Howarth Homes is unveiling the scheme of studio suites, one-, two- and three-bedroom waterside apartments, called Waterloo Wharf, at the Sheraton Skyline Hotel at Heathrow Airport, at 3.00pm on Friday 14 October, an opportunity for house-hunters and buy-to-let investors to consider an off-plan purchase.

The architecture of these new homes is inspired by the wharf heritage of the canal and complemented by a 21st-century interior specification, with chic handle-less kitchen units, an extensive set of integrated appliances and an instant boiling water tap. Many of the homes have their own private balcony or terrace with views over the water.

Dale Wagstaff, managing director of Howarth Homes, says: “There may never be a better time to buy.  Uxbridge has enjoyed a 52% increase in house prices over the last five years and this looks set to continue. The properties in Waterloo Wharf are not due to be finished for three years, so buying off-plan will enable purchasers to secure a brand new home at today’s low prices, with the potential of a significant increase in the value prior to completion. Howarth Homes are also offering 5% interest paid on deposits, presenting a superb investment opportunity for purchasers.

“Our last launch in Uxbridge in March 2016 was a sell-out – with all 73 apartments sold within six hours.  We encourage buyers to come early on the launch day in order to secure their place in the queue.”

Buyers and investors alike will be attracted by the features of Uxbridge town: plenty of shops within a stroll of the development; two Tube routes served from Uxbridge station, Piccadilly and Metropolitan lines; good road access via the M25/M4/M40/A40; and proximity to Heathrow Airport, just six miles away).  It is also a close to numerous business headquarters and university facilities, providing a good rental audience for the area.

Prices for the apartments at Waterloo Wharf will start at £219,995.
