Muir Homes has seen exceptional sales this year, selling all its homes scheduled for completion until next spring...

Fife-based housebuilder Muir Homes has achieved a successful off-plan sales by selling out until next Spring at its developments across Scotland.

The company has seven sites across the country in Aberdeenshire, Perthshire and West of Scotland. The trend for moving out of the city for more space and access to private spaces such as gardens and balconies has resulted in buoyant off-plan sales for the property developer. Homes are for sale but their completion is not expected until well into next year.

In Aberdeenshire, properties include Sovereign Gate, located a few minutes from the centre of Peterhead with coastline and countryside on the doorstep. Three-bedroom, detached family homes are available from £169,995. All have front and back gardens and are commutable to Aberdeen by car.

Other popular developments include The Grange at Laurencekirk, where prices start at £185,995 for a two-bedroom bungalow. as well as a development at Newton of Charleston, Aberdeen, and Riverside of Blairs in Royal Deeside.

In the West of Scotland, Muir Homes has Castlebank House in an elevated position overlooking the Clyde Estuary in Inverclyde. The properties could be perfect for people wanting to commute into Glasgow and live in a rural setting close to shops and amenities. A one-bedroom apartment here starts at £144,200, compared to about £175,000 for a similar property in the West End of Glasgow. The housebuilder also has a development of spacious homes in Glenboig in North Lanarkshire with excellent transport links to Glasgow and Edinburgh, and shopping at Glasgow Fort.

Ash Sheikh, sales and marketing director of Muir Homes, said the company had adapted to the lockdown and progressed sales virtually allowing homebuyers to view homes via a 3D videos of the properties, adding: “We have been able to use our website and social channels to bring the benefits of our developments to life. This, coupled with a genuine interest in homes offering more outdoor space with access to large towns and cities, has allowed the uplift in homebuyer interest and the successful off plan sales.

“Our reputation for high-quality homes and the fine-tuning of our house designs to customer needs has undoubtedly helped us through the difficult trading period. We are working hard to satisfy the interest in our new homes next year.

Muir Homes aims to create a further 155 houses on sites across the country, with a further 62 houses for Aberdeenshire and 21 for Inverclyde planned. Find out more at www.muirhomes.co.uk.
