Keith OsborneMiller Homes in the East of Scotland has launched a brand new show home at its Bertha Park development in Perth featuring a host of the town’s favourite small businesses.
The four-bedroom ‘Marwood’ features products from Perth businesses including Quince & Cook, Heather Rose Spirits, Wilt & Wild, Mhor Coffee and The Watermill Bookshop. It has all been brought to life by Envision, with interiors carefully selected to complement the home’s contemporary design and open-plan layout. Scandi-style furnishings in rich hues and gold accents make this home both sophisticated and stylish, and a variety of colourful accessories from Perth’s local businesses finish off the home and tie the décor together beautifully.
Buyers can easily recreate the show home interiors by supporting local. What’s more, buyers can get the overall look of the house without having to go to too much trouble as the ‘Marwood’ has been designed almost exclusively with paint, highlighting how easy it is to transform your home with just colour.
Eileen Kesson, interior designer at Envision, said: “It’s been an absolute delight to design the new ‘Marwood’ show home at Bertha Park and refreshing to use a vibrant colour palette offset with balancing, calm, neutral spaces. Perth is full of some outstanding small businesses and we’re delighted to feature just a few of them as part of our show home. The products provided have really helped inject some local colour and storytelling into the home.”
Quince & Cook, one of Perth’s most-loved homeware and cookery stores, provided a selection of colourful pantry accessories for the laundry room in the show home. Lending a pop of colour to the neutral space, buyers can get the look using Quince & Cook’s bright canisters and storage tins.

In the kitchen, local artisan coffee company Mhor Coffee has provided a striking red Hario V60 and some of their delicious ground coffee to brighten up the worktops. Established in 2020, this new company has already made its mark on the Scottish coffee scene and is a favourite with Perth locals.
Premium drinks company Heather Rose Spirits can be found in the kitchen’s cocktail corner. Their signature colourful ceramic bottles of small batch gin and rum produced at Strathearn Distillery, just a 15-minute drive from Bertha Park, showcases the very best local spirits and will give buyers a wealth of cocktail inspiration.
Perth-based florist Wilt & Wild has created a dried flower arrangement for the laundry room in shades of bright green, red and orange to complement the home’s bold colour pops.
Upstairs, in the kid’s bedroom, children’s books from The Watermill Bookshop are on display alongside a range of playful accessories, guaranteed to impress the whole family.
Buyers interested in visiting the show house can book an appointment to visit from 10.30am to 5.30pm, Thursday to Monday. Find out more about Bertha Park from Miller Homes.
