Award-winning specialist McCarthy Stone is hosting an event in Tettenhall next week to showcase its regional new homes...

McCarthy Stone is inviting local retirees to an exclusive information event on Wednesday 9 June at the exclusive Mount Hotel in Tettenhall, where they can find out about the benefits of retirement living at a range of its developments across the West Midlands region.

All are welcome to join the McCarthy Stone team between 10.30am and 12.30pm, or 2.00pm and 4.00pm, for the socially distanced event where they can find out more about McCarthy Stone’s new outlook on retirement living at its local Thorneycroft, Brindley Gardens, Algar Court and Clock Gardens developments. Those who come along will also receive a goody bag.

Brindley Gardens, Algar Court and Clock Gardens have been exclusively designed for the over-60s, whilst Thorneycroft is suited to the over-70s. Each presents a choice of low-maintenance and spacious apartments which offer all the home comforts for a relaxing retirement, as well as a choice of social and leisure activities right on the doorstep.

Samantha Watkins, deputy divisional sales and marketing director for McCarthy Stone, said: “We have been truly overwhelmed by the fantastic response to our developments in the Wolverhampton area. The low maintenance living available has really appealed to those retirees looking to stay independent for longer, become part of a thriving community and spend their time doing the things they love.

“As restrictions ease, we’re looking forward to welcoming people to The Mount Hotel on Wednesday 9th June for an enjoyable and socially distanced afternoon of refreshments. It’s also a fantastic opportunity for visitors to find out more about the lifestyle on offer at Thorneycroft, Brindley Gardens, Algar Court and Clock Gardens. One-to-one tours of our stunning show complexes and remaining properties can also be arranged for those looking to further explore all the charm our local developments have to offer.

“We hope those from the local area will join us as we raise a glass and celebrate their opportunity to become part of our wonderful new communities.”

With safety being the company’s number one priority, places at the event are limited and must be pre-booked. The McCarthy Stone team will also advise visitors on specific practices and additional precautions which have been introduced, such as temperature checks on arrival.

Facilities at Brindley Gardens, Algar Court and Clock Gardens include a homeowners’ lounge – ideal for socialising – landscaped gardens and a convenient hotel-style guest suite. A house manager is on hand to take care of the day-to-day running of the development, while a 24-hour emergency call system and camera entry system provides added peace-of-mind. Thorneycroft also features an on-site bistro and tailored domestic support services which can be managed according to each individual’s needs.

Brindley Gardens, Algar Court and Thorneycroft also offer a range of flexible retirement living solutions whether purchasing outright, renting, or taking advantage of part buy-part rent options.
