Ribbon-Cutting Event At Melton Mowbray Retirement Scheme

Posted 15 November 2021 by Keith Osborne

The Mayor of Melton has officially opened McCarthy Stone's Pine Gardens and Catherine Place...

There was cause for celebration when the Mayor of Melton, Councillor Peter Faulkner, paid a visit to officially open Pine Gardens and Catherine Place, the latest Retirement Living development from McCarthy Stone.

Cllr Faulkner was joined by McCarthy Stone employees along with homeowners from Pine Gardens and Catherine Place to perform the ribbon-cutting ceremony at the development on Scalford Road. Cllr Faulkner commented: “I was delighted to be invited to officially open Pine Gardens and Catherine Place. I had a wonderful time chatting with the homeowners and learning more about the friendly, relaxing lifestyle and community that they have there. I would like to thank McCarthy Stone for inviting me.”

Cheryl Bissett, divisional sales and marketing director for McCarthy Stone, said: “We were thrilled to welcome Councillor Faulkner to celebrate the official opening of Pine Gardens and Catherine Place. We are committed to delivering an exceptional lifestyle that offers all the home comforts for a relaxing retirement, along with a choice of social and leisure activities right on the doorstep. Pine Gardens and Catherine Place have fast become thriving communities of retirees looking to live their retirement to the full and we encourage anyone interested in joining us to get in touch now.”

The apartments at Catherine Place feature a communal lounge overlooking the landscaped gardens and terrace, along with a hotel-style guest suite for when family or friends come to stay. Future homeowners will benefit from a house manager, and a 24-hour emergency call system and camera entry system will provide added peace-of-mind. The bungalows at Pine Gardens have their own private rear gardens and a drive, and selected plots have a garage.

Located in Britain’s ‘rural capital of food’, Catherine Place and Pine Gardens is ideally situated for easy access to all of the amenities the bustling town of Melton Mowbray has to offer, including a range of shops, eateries, and leisure activities. There are also excellent public transport links from the development to Leicester, Peterborough and further afield.

Prices currently start from £202,950 for a one-bedroom apartment and £274,950 for a two-bedroom apartment. Bungalows are priced from £351,950. Find out more about Pine Gardens and Catherine Place from McCarthy Stone.
