Discovery Day Taking Place For Macclesfield Retirement Development
Retirees from in and around Knutsford have the chance to learn more about retirement living at Centennial Place, an upcoming development by McCarthy Stone, at an event taking place at a nearby site on Wednesday 22 March.
The Discovery Day is happening at Kings Scholars Court in Macclesfield, where house-hunters of retirement age can find out more about the near development currently taking on Northwich Road in Knutsford.
Kings Scholars Court provides the ideal venue for visitors to discover more about the quality of accommodation and communal facilities set to be on offer at Centennial Place once construction is complete. The event provides the opportunity to have one-to-one personal appointments to find out more about the facilities and services being created at Centennial Place, which will welcome its first homeowners in the autumn of this year.
After that, visitors will have until 4.00pm to take a tour of the show apartments, view plans and apartment specification and speak to the friendly McCarthy Stone expert team about moving and purchasing packages available, including the option to purchase outright, rent, or part-buy, part-rent.
Louise Flynn, divisional marketing manager for McCarthy Stone, commented: “Cheshire is proving a very popular area for retirees seeking to downsize while retaining maximum independence, and Centennial Place will offer a further opportunity to do just that as part of a vibrant and welcoming community.
“Those attending the Discover Day will really get to understand what choosing a McCarthy Stone retirement home will bring them, with luxury homes paired with enviable on-site facilities. We’d urge anyone interested to book their place as soon as they can.”
The event is free to attend but places are limited so should be booked in advance by calling 0800 882 1829.
When complete, Centennial Place will consist of a total of 46 one- and two-bedroom apartments offering everything the over-60s could need for a fulfilling and independent lifestyle. The cosy homes will be complemented by a homeowners’ lounge – ideal for meeting the neighbours – well-maintained, attractively landscaped gardens and a handy guest suite where family or friends can enjoy an overnight stay. A house manager will oversee the development during office hours, while reassurance will be provided for homeowners and their families by a camera entry system and a 24/7 call system.
Centennial Place will be located a short distance from the cobbled streets of Knutsford, home to a weekly artisan market and numerous other attractions and events. These range from a Street Fair and a beer festival to the annual crowning of the May Queen. Tatton Park is less than three miles away, with its 1,000-acre estate offering much to explore.
