Charlie Dimmock Celebrates Grand Opening Of Olney Retirement Community

Olney retirees were delighted to welcome celebrity guest and TV star Charlie Dimmock to join them in celebrating the Grand Opening of a new Retirement Living Plus development on Teedon Lane.

The face of BBC’s Garden Rescue took lead of the celebrations at McCarthy Stone’s Penny House with a demonstration on creating the perfect Christmas display bowl before performing a ceremonial ribbon cutting. Guests at the event spent time getting to know Charlie as part of a candid Q&A session in the communal lounge over a glass of fizz and delicious light-bites from the on-site bistro, before enjoying some live entertainment. Topping off their experience, attendees were taken on a guided tour of the communal facilities within the community.
