Off-Plan Launch Event This Week For Age-Exclusive Surrey Scheme

Posted 13 October 2021 by Keith Osborne

A development of just 14 age-exclusive homes in Cranleigh officially launches off-plan on Thursday 14 October...

On Thursday 14 October, specialist developer Lifestory will host an off-plan launch event enabling potential homeowners to find out more about our latest community, Renaissance Cranleigh Coves.

Comprising 12 spacious one- and two-bedroom apartments, and two chalet bungalows, Cranleigh Coves offers a sociable and independent lifestyle in the heart of one of England’s largest villages.

Lifestory’s passion is creating communities which enable and empower customers to live their fullest lives, regardless of their age or life stage. Designed by Re-Format Architects, and influenced by the local Arts & Crafts traditions, Cranleigh Coves is a space curated to nurture social connection and wellbeing.

Each home at Cranleigh Coves is designed to bring light flooding in from its surrounds, with large windows and flowing layouts. All kitchens boast Silestone quartz worktops in the kitchen alongside top-quality appliances, whilst the bathrooms are equally well thought-out.

Good relationships are the foundation of wellbeing and Cranleigh Coves will have its own dedicated Lifehost, who is embedded in the community to bring it together and ensure that everyone is included as much or as little as they like. The Lifehost is also an important part of a holistic security approach that includes CCTV and video phone entry for all homes.

Great consideration has been paid to shared spaces, and the community has an airy and tranquil shared lounge, a social kitchen and a convivial outdoor seating area. All residents are welcome to enjoy the beautiful, shared landscaped gardens, which feature a nod to the Lifestory brand with a specially installed Book Bench. Shaped like an open book, this sculpture will be decorated by local artists and will form part of the shared seating area in the community.

Renaissance Cranleigh CovesThe two chalet bungalows each have a private garden, whilst the apartments all enjoy their own balcony or terrace. There are also 19 parking spaces available, including a garage for each of the chalets.

Located on a leafy road half-a-mile from Cranleigh, the community ideally balances the appeal of both countryside and town, with Guildford a 23-minute drive away and a day out in London only a short 40 minutes by train.

The true beauty of Cranleigh lies in the variety of experiences right on the doorstep, bursting with rural delights and cultural pleasures. With a rich array of independent boutiques, restaurants, and pubs, as well as easy access to the Surrey Hills AONB, great sporting opportunities and a fantastic arts scene, Cranleigh is genuinely a special place to live.

Ruth Howell, regional head of marketing, South & South West, at Lifestory, commented: “At Lifestory, we are passionate about helping our customers create lasting value for themselves and their community. With gorgeous, airy homes and plenty of well-designed shared and outdoor spaces, Cranleigh Coves is the perfect community for those seeking a home that fits their next chapter in later life. It’s also the perfect opportunity to become part of the thriving and exciting village of Cranleigh, and to experience the wonderful surrounds on offer in Surrey.”

Cranleigh Coves is located on Horsham Road, and will launch off-plan on Thursday 14 October at the Bramley Golf Club. 25% of homes have already been reserved. Prices for the remainder start at £475,000. Find out more at [email protected] or call 01483 319034.
