Haringey Shared Ownership Apartments Ready To Move Into Now

Posted 8 August 2022 by Keith Osborne

L&Q at Clarendon is a development with a range of apartments available to buy now through Shard Ownership...

Offering an affordable route onto the property ladder in the Borough of Haringey, L&Q at Clarendon is a collection of one-, two- and three-bedroom homes that are available exclusively through Shared Ownership and ready to move in now.

The homes form part of the wider Clarendon development, a growing new residential neighbourhood within the Haringey Heartlands regeneration scheme, where plans include a central civic boulevard linking the east and west of Wood Green, creating easy access to the nearby stations.

With four train stations less than a mile from the development – Alexandra Palace, Hornsey, Wood Green, and Turnpike Lane, serviced by Thameslink, the Piccadilly line, and the East Coast Mainline, the new 12-acre city village of over 1,700 new homes in Zone 3 is one of the most exciting new destinations in London.

Along with endless travel opportunities, residents will benefit from numerous amenities on their doorstep, including landscaped green spaces by LDA design, and a central hub designed by Sheppard Robson. This centre point of the development will be home to retail, office areas, community space, food and drink options, and a public square for events and activities. Residents will also have access to leisure amenities including a lounge, gym, spa and pool. With all this on their doorstep, buyers can benefit from having everything within walking distance.

Claire Brenlund, sales and marketing director at L&Q, commented: “Following the increased demand for affordable homes in Haringey, we are excited to launch our new collection of Shared Ownership homes to help individuals onto the property ladder. With plenty to see and do in the ever-growing neighbourhood, these apartments are perfect for those who love the buzz of the city. With acres of green space to explore and proximity to Muswell Hill and Alexandra Palace, residents will never get bored of their fantastic local area.”

Each of the brand-new homes feature spacious open-plan living areas, plenty of natural light and private outside space. Every home has either a private balcony or garden, and residents can enjoy access to landscaped communal green spaces, including a new pocket square, public garden, wild planted podium space and a residents’ roof terrace.

Alongside the abundance of green space at Clarendon, residents can enjoy the variety of public parks and open spaces on their doorstep, including Alexandra Park and Finsbury Park. Haringey is home to 25 Green Flag Parks, meaning outdoor space and parkland walks are only ever moments away.

Through Shared Ownership, prices start from £105,625 for a 25% share of a one-bedroom apartment (full market value £422,500), and from £134,375 for a 25% share of a two-bedroom apartment (full market value £537,500). Find out more at lqhomes.com.

A Guide To Part Buy Part Rent
With Home Reach you buy a share of your chosen newly built home and pay a monthly rent on the part you don’t buy. Your budget will decide the size of the share you buy, rather than the size of your home. So, you might decide to buy a bigger share of a lower priced home or a smaller share of a more expensive home.
