Shared Ownership Homes Launch in Stratford-Upon-Avon

Helping first-time buyers onto the property ladder in an area that is often out of reach for many, on Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 February L&Q are launching 13 two-, three- and four-bedroom Shared Ownership homes at Birnam Mews in Tiddington, just two miles from the centre of Stratford-Upon-Avon.

As a special offer for the launch weekend only, buyers can reserve a home for just £99 and receive a £1,000 contribution towards your legal fees (terms and conditions apply).

Shared Ownership (also referred to as ‘part buy-part rent’) at Birnam Mews will allow first-time purchasers to secure a property with a deposit from just £4,125, substantially lower than the deposit required for a 100% purchase. Buyers purchase a share in the property and then pay a subsidised rent on the remaining portion. As their financial circumstances change, homeowners can increase the share they own until the percentage share owned is 100%.

By increasing the number of Shared Ownership homes available, Birnam Mews will become accessible to a wide range of buyers, building a diverse and exciting community of residents.
