Home Reach Incentives In Redhill And Southampton

There's a special deal available for a limited time on some brand new 'part buy-part rent' apartments...

Housing provider heylo has a special offer available on plots at developments in Redhill and Southampton which are available through its Home Reach part buy-part rent scheme.

Home Reach is a partnership between housing provider heylo and a number of housebuilders across England which gives buyers who meet the eligibility criteria the opportunity to ‘part buy-part rent’ a brand new home. You can purchase a share of a new build home (usually starting at 50%) and pay a subsidised rent on the remainder, with heylo as the landlord. The scheme is offered on selected plots at a development and provides all the benefits of homeownership but requires a much smaller deposit (5% of the share price) and a smaller mortgage than when purchasing outright. Over time, owners can buy further shares as their budget allows, until they own 100%.

The limited-time offer is available on a number of homes at The Picturehouse in Redhill and Centenary Quays in Southampton. At both developments, 40% shares are now available, flooring and white goods included in the price and if they reserve before 31 December 2021, buyers will get £1,500 towards legal fees (terms and conditions apply).

The Picturehouse is a collection of one- and two-bedroom apartments located in the heart of Redhill – ideal for commuters as direct trains to London Bridge take just 31 minutes. There specification includes fitted kitchen with Bosch appliances, Hansgrohe bathroom fittings and video entry system.

A one-bedroom property starts from £104,000, based on a 40% share of a full market value of £260,000, and comes with an open-plan kitchen/dining/living room, private balcony, bedroom with fitted wardrobe, bathroom and off-hallway storage. Two-bedroom homes start at £135,000 based on 40% share (full market value £337,500). All have a private balcony off the kitchen/living/dining room, and a family bathroom, and while some have one double and once single bedroom, others have two doubles and fitted wardrobe and en suite to bedroom one.

Centenary Quay is a waterside development set on the River Itchen, just a couple of miles from the centre of Southampton and well placed for rail services and access to the M27 and M3. The special offer here applies to two-bedroom apartments priced from £114,000 based on a 40% share of a full market value of £285,000. The master bedroom comes with en suite, the second bedroom could equally function as home office or hobby room. There’s a private balcony off the open-plan kitchen/dining/living room.
