There are a few new homes developments across England which are offering their final chance to part buy/part rent through the popular Home Reach initiative.
Home Reach is an opportunity to ‘part buy-part rent’ a brand new home. Buyers who meet the eligibility criteria can purchase a share of a new build home (usually starting at 50%) and pay a subsidised rent on the remainder, with housing provider heylo as the landlord. The scheme is offered on selected plots at developments across England and provides all the benefits of homeownership but requires a much smaller deposit (5% of the share price) and a smaller mortgage than when purchasing outright. Over time, owners can buy further shares as their budget allows, until they own 100%.
Here's a look at some ‘final chance’ developments across the country:
Yorkshire
Acklam Gardens is located just a mile-and-a-half from the centre of Middlesbrough in an established residential area. Here, there’s a three-bedroom detached home available to part buy-part rent. Called the ‘Kilkenny’, it has a lounge at the front and a kitchen/dining room to the rear, with French doors to the garden. There’s also a downstairs WC. Grainbeck Lane is in Killinghall, a village within the sought-after Harrogate district of North Yorkshire . East of England
The Square is in Harlow, the well-connected Essex town which is undergoing major regeneration. As well as offering its own shopping centre and a range of amenities and public open spaces, it has excellent rail links to central London and Stansted Airport, and is close to the A414 and M11.
