Christmas Event At Bromley-By-Bow Site

Posted 1 December 2021 by Keith Osborne

House-hunters in east London can combine celebrations with a site tour at Leaside Lock on Thursday 2 December...

From 6.00pm to 8.00pm on Thursday 2 December, Guinness Homes will be welcoming house-hunters to its Leaside Lock flagship development in Bromley-by-Bow with a ‘Put a Bow On It’ event combining Christmas celebrations with an opportunity to take a tour of the development, and the two brand new show homes.

Throughout the festive soirée, Christmas carols will be performed by East London Chorus, while prospective purchasers enjoy mince pies and hot chocolate. Taking the fuss out of Christmas planning, visitors can have their presents wrapped by a team of gift-wrapping professionals from ‘Let’s Get It Wrapped’.

A new riverside neighbourhood in the heart of east London, Leaside Lock offers an eclectic mix of studio, one- and two-bedroom apartments available through Shared Ownership and London Help to Buy. Situated in a prime Zone 2 location, all homes at Leaside Lock come with the latest in mod-cons: contemporary kitchens come complete with integrated Bosch appliances, whilst all bathrooms and en suites showcase sleek sanitaryware. Underfloor electric heating is fitted in all apartments, and all residents will have access to a podium garden. A number of blocks will also be complete with roof terraces, offering panoramic views across The City.

A major placemaking project that will ultimately deliver 965 homes, the mixed-tenure development will wrap around a central piazza, designed to cultivate a sense of community amongst residents. Offering a holistic lifestyle, there will be a broad range of new facilities on-site, including a health and fitness studio, a gym, a convenience store and co-working space.

At Leaside Lock, Private sale prices start at from £299,950 for a studio and £560,000 for a two-bedroom apartment. Shared Ownership apartments are currently 50% reserved. Prices start from £90,000 for a 25% share of a one-bedroom apartment (full market value £360,000) and £115,000 for a 25% share of a two-bedroom apartment (full market value £460,000). A Guide To Part Buy Part Rent
With Home Reach you buy a share of your chosen newly built home and pay a monthly rent on the part you don’t buy. Your budget will decide the size of the share you buy, rather than the size of your home. So, you might decide to buy a bigger share of a lower priced home or a smaller share of a more expensive home.
