Frim here to eternity – a new show home comes to Surrey this weekend

Posted 8 September 2016 by Keith Osborne

The Surrey town of Frimley will see a new Thames Valley Housing show house at the Woodbridge new homes development from this Saturday...

Buyers looking for a new family home in Frimley now have an opportunity to secure an impressive, contemporary design for a deposit of under £25,000, thanks to developer Thames Valley Housing and the government’s Help to Buy scheme.

They can even take a first-hand look at what they can purchase thanks to a show home that is launching on 10 September, a four-bedroom property that shows the design and specification on offer.

Four-bedroom homes at the Woodbridge development start at £485,000, but with Help to Buy, the 5% deposit required is only £24,250. With the addition of a 20% equity loan from the government, buyers only have to find a mortgage for 75%, which opens up what they can afford to borrow and what interest rate they can secure.

Kush Rawal, sales and marketing director at Thames Valley Housing, says: “When the first homes at Woodbridge launched this year, they were snapped up within days and enquiries are continuing to flood in. The development has a brilliant specification and location; there are great schools in the area, making the homes very appealing to families. All this, and the availability of Help to Buy, create a very attractive proposition. I strongly recommend getting in touch to avoid missing out.”

The show home has been professionally decorated throughout with inspiring furniture, accessories and décor to complement what buyers will find the moment they move in. The designer kitchen is equipped with integrated appliances including a dishwasher and washer/dryer, with composite worktops and a ceramic hob, so everything you need is there the moment you move in.

The home also features wood-effect flooring throughout, glazed bi-fold doors to join the living area to the patio and garden, a double wardrobe and en suite shower room to the master bedroom and the addition of two private parking spaces.

The Woodbridge development sits on a former hospital site, with the 1908 cottage hospital building itself converted to flats and retained as a centrepiece to the collection of modern-looking new homes taking shape around it.

The development’s central location provides direct access to Frimley High Street’s shops and services, including a Waitrose supermarket, a post office, and a number of popular pubs and cafes. Nearby Camberley also has a good range of amenities at hand.

Commuters will appreciate the services from Frimley’ nearby station to Waterloo, while there are also a range of bus routes serving the area. The M3 is a very short drive, as are connections to Aldershot, Farnborough, Wokingham and further afield.

If a four-bedroom home is too big for your needs, a new phase of two-bedroom apartments is also launching soon at Woodbridge, with prices from £299,995.
