Harry Potter Connection To New Palmers Green Show Home
Dominvs Group is set to open a new dressed show home to potential buyers on Saturday 26 June at its One Fox Lane development in Palmers Green, which is being transformed from a historic public house, The Fox, famous for featuring in the Harry Potter film franchise.
The scheme offers 54 one- and two-bedroom apartments over four floors, perfect for young professionals and first-time buyers. The show apartment follows a spike in demand last year with over half of the new homes there already sold.
The Fox public house is locally listed and forms an integral part of the surrounding new build architecture. It is most famous for featuring in Harry Potter and The Prisoner of Azkaban in 2004, as Harry travels through Palmers Green on the colourful night bus, making it a landmark for avid film fans. In 2015, it became the London Borough of Enfield's first Asset of Community Value.
With a glazed motif on the façade with letters spelling out The Fox, the current Edwardian public house was constructed in 1904 with a distinct red brick façade with bays, arched windows, and Tudor-style dormer windows to the roofscape, sitting at the junction of Fox Lane and Green Lanes, the bustling high street.
The collection of one- and two-bedroom apartments offers high-quality specification at affordable prices. Each home has a bright, open-plan layout, with either a private balcony or terrace. The residents’ amenities include the gym, to be operated by PureGym, private parking and bike storage, and a communal landscaped garden for relaxing.
