Dakota Loft Developments – part of the Pentland Homes Ltd group – has announced the launch on Friday 10 September of its Hawker23 development, offering a rare opportunity to enjoy loft-style living in Hawkinge, a village set in the beautiful Kent countryside, near the coast.

This boutique scheme offers 14 one-bedroom and nine two-bedroom apartments, complete with a fully secure entry phone system. An eclectic interior design includes kitchens with quartz worktops and large islands, luxurious bathrooms with highly individual fittings such as backlit mirrors and stone sinks, and low-energy lighting throughout, all brought together using a sophisticated palette of muted greys. Data points for broadband and telephone lines, and TV and USB points, are fitted to the lounge and bedrooms. There are grand artistic feature walls in each apartment and the landscaped communal areas.

Set in the heart of the village of Hawkinge, Hawker23 is just a short walk from local amenities including a bakery, a range of shops, a pub and other services. The Shuttle rail service to France is a 12-minute drive away, with journey times of 35 minutes to the continent, and London is just 38 minutes away via High Speed services from Ashford to London St Pancras.

Hawker23Close by you’ve great attractions such as Folkestone’s thriving Harbour Arm, offering the best of local food and drink, and the increasingly trendy seaside town of Whitstable, while Folkestone also offers a wide choice of boutique shops and restaurants. For those with an eye for quality designer clothes, The Ashford Designer Outlet Centre is a short drive along the nearby M20 motorway.

What becomes instantly clear is how we’ve focused on finding beautiful and contemporary interior inspirations from all over the world. It’s all in the detail, meticulously crafted by industry professionals. Throughout the apartments this stylish sophistication is maintained, blending the modern with the classic in a unique way to the highest specification.

“Surrounding the apartments, we have created beautiful landscaped communal gardens that reinforce the feel of community life in this stunning coastal part of Kent, the Garden of England.”
