Crest Nicholson has launched a new phase and show home at its Finberry development in Ashford…

WhatHouse? Award-winning housebuilder Crest Nicholson has launched its latest phase of new homes within its sought-after Finberry village in Ashford, Kent.

Available to reserve now, Bilham Lawn will offer a mix of 42 two- to four-bedroom homes once complete, making it ideal for a variety of purchasers, from first-time buyers to growing families or those looking to downsize. A brand new show home and sales suite are now open, with the first residents expected to move in from spring 2023.

The wider Finberry development is a well-established community of over 600 people. Upon completion, it will comprise a total of 1,100 homes plus a range of facilities and amenities, including a state of the art primary school, play parks, a community centre, shops, restaurants and sports pitches.

The homes at Bilham Lawn have been carefully designed to suit modern day lifestyles, with traditional materials to complement the local environment. Bilham Lawn will also offer ten different house types to accommodate the needs of a range of prospective homeowners. One of Crest Nicholson’s most popular house types, the four-bedroom Marlborough, has launched as a show home to help prospective buyers imagine living at Bilham Lawn. The Marlborough offers an open-plan kitchen-dining-family area with an adjoining utility room, as well as a separate spacious living room on the ground floor, providing plenty of space to relax, unwind, and entertain. Upstairs boasts four spacious double bedrooms, a well-proportioned family bathroom, and an en-suite for the main bedroom.

Karen Coulson, sales and marketing director at Crest Nicholson Eastern, comments: “We’re excited to launch our latest phase at our sought-after Finberry village, with the first homes available to reserve now. Now we’ve launched our Marlborough show home, too, prospective buyers can visit to get a real feel for what it’d be like to live at Bilham Lawn. We are increasingly seeing demand from house hunters looking for the perfect mix of town and countryside living. Located in Kent, the Garden of England, and with Ashford town centre right on the doorstep, residents can truly get the best of both worlds. With our existing developments having been popular with both locals and those from further afield, we’re pleased that Bilham Lawn is responding to ongoing demand for high quality housing, offering homebuyers another opportunity to join the bustling community at Finberry.”

Suzanne Thomas, creative sales director at Blocc Interiors who designed the new show home, comments: “For Bilham Lawn, we wanted to bring some of the homely elements of village living, along with the modern lifestyle of a new build home to life. We created a classic and sophisticated aesthetic with a palette of natural woods, metal and glass – with touches of black and gold. This really helped make the new show home feel like a luxurious family home. Upstairs, we created a boutique hotel-style main bedroom with an impactful embossed wallpaper and a fabric headboard – bringing through blue and taupe tones to create a calm parents retreat.”

Located just a short drive away from the M20 motorway, residents benefit from easy access to London and the M25, and in the other direction the South coast. Ashford International station is less than four miles away, with high-speed trains running regularly, linking passengers to London St Pancras in just 38 minutes.  – ideal for professional commuters. Residents can also make use of the Eurostar which passes through the town at Ashford International.

Situated close to the Kent Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and the South Coast of England, the development is ideally located for those who enjoy spending time outdoors. Additionally, Ashford has plenty of amenities including shops, restaurants and cafes, plus the McArthur Glen Designer Outlet. For families, the development also boasts the state-of-the-art Finberry Primary School just a stone’s throw away.

Prices for two-, three-, and four-bedroom homes start at £300,000, £380,000, and £475,000 respectively, with SmoothMove, Part Exchange, and Deposit Unlock available on selected plots.
