Deposit Boost Available At Alton Development
WhatHouse? Award-winning housebuilder Crest Nicholson is currently offering its Deposit Boost scheme at selected properties at its Ackender Hill development in Alton, Hampshire.
The scheme is designed to boost the deposit for a brand new home up to an extra 5%. If prospective buyers already have a 10% deposit saved, Crest Nicholson is able to boost their deposit by up to a maximum of 5% of the purchase price. This means that buyers would only need an 85% mortgage on the remaining purchase price, ultimately offering buyers more choice of mortgages and better rates.
Eileen Guihen, sales and marketing director at Crest Nicholson South, comments: “Particularly in the current market, we understand that buying a new home can be a stressful process, so we’re pleased to now be offering our Deposit Boost scheme at Ackender Hill, giving purchasers an additional helping hand with moving up or onto the property ladder. In the long term, it could also mean lower interest rates and, most importantly, lower monthly repayments. Our Ackender Hill development has proven to be very popular, thanks to its countryside location. The area surrounding the development has a truly rural feel, offering plenty of walking and cycling routes for residents to enjoy. Our Deposit Boost scheme has received a huge amount of interest, so if you would like to learn more, please do reach out to a member of our sales team or visit them at the sales suite.”
Ackender Hill is located 1.8 miles from Alton train station by car, allowing residents to get a direct service to London Waterloo in just over an hour, making it an ideal location for commuters. The A31 is also nearby, offering access to Winchester and Basingstoke via the M3.
Residents can enjoy an excellent array of restaurants, high street retailers, cafes and pubs in Alton town centre, which is located less than a 10 minute drive from the development. For those with children, there are many schools nearby – from nurseries up to comprehensive schools – including The Butts Primary School and Chawton Church of England Primary School, both rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted. Alton also sits halfway between the University of Surrey at Guildford and the University of Winchester.
