Show Homes Launch This Weekend In Paddock Wood

Housebuilder Countryside is opening three show homes at its development The Burrows in Paddock Wood on Saturday 15th January.

The Burrows is delivering some 300 new build properties, a mixture of two-, three-, four- and five-bedroom homes to suit a wide range of requirements and budgets.

‘The Laurel’ is a three-bedroom semi-detached house type that starts at £400,000 and offers 924 sq ft of living space. The ground floor is an open-plan kitchen/dining living room with French doors to the garden. It also benefit from storage under the stairs and a cloakroom. Bedrooms one and two are doubles, one with an en suite, and bedroom three is a single room that could equally be used as a home office. The family bathroom completes the first floor. ‘The Elder’ is a terraced house type with 1,081 sq ft of living space and a starting price of £445,000 which has a similar floorplan to ‘The Laurel’.

For a detached home, ‘The Skylark’ has a starting price of £505,000 and 1,142 sq ft of living space. Of one side of the hallway of this double-fronted house type is a fitted kitchen/dining room with breakfast bar and the bonus of a utility room. There’s a separate triple-aspect lounge with bay window and French doors to the garden. There are two double bedrooms (one with en suite shower room) and a single bedroom, along with a family bathroom.

The largest house type currently available, with 1,236 sq ft of living space, is ‘The Turnstone’. This detached property, priced at £545,000, has a living room with bay window at the front, a kitchen/dining room with French doors to the turfed rear garden, understairs storage, a downstairs WC, two double bedrooms (one with en suite), two single bedrooms and a family bathroom. It comes with garage and two allocated parking spaces.

Paddock Wood is in the heart of Kent, set in countryside just a few miles from Tonbridge and Royal Tunbridge Wells. The town was developed as a hub for the local hop growing industry and has remained a strong community with a variety of amenities located on the high street, including independent shops, supermarkets, cafés and a post office. A number of major roads are within an easy drive and the railway station offers frequent trains to London, Medway and the Kent coast.
