Penthouses Now Available In Reading’s Tallest Resi Tower

Posted 27 October 2020 by Keith Osborne

Seven high-specification three-bedroom properties have been released for sale at Verto, in the centre of Reading...

CNM Estates has released Verto Skyline, a much-anticipated new collection of seven penthouses in Reading’s tallest residential building, designed by award-winning Assael Architecture.

Situated in the landmark Verto tower, the three-bedroom penthouses offer internal floor space comparable to a four-bedroom house, along with balconies and terraces. The impressive specification includes features such as comfort cooling and heating, hardwood oak engineered flooring with underfloor heating, bespoke contemporary German-designed kitchens by Rotpunkt with integrated Siemens appliances, sleek spa-like bathrooms and plush bedrooms, all complemented by modern technology including hyper-fast broadband.

Combining expansive floorplates of typically 1,500 sq ft, fine residents’ amenities and a centrally located riverside location, Verto Skyline offers the prestige units at circa £520 per square foot, almost two thirds less than comparably sized and specified homes in London.

In total, Verto comprises 103 one-, two- and three-bedroom private apartments, with 91 units already sold. At 18 storeys, it is the tallest residential building in Reading and provides residents with unrivalled panoramic views.

Verto SkylineBuilding design by opulent boutique hotels, with a statement entrance lobby and amenities include a concierge, private residents’ lounge and gym, along with outside roof terraces on the 7th and 9th floors allowing residents to soak up the river and townscape views from dawn till dusk. There is also secure parking and cycle storage.

Verto puts you at the heart of all that Reading has to offer with a wealth of choice of shops, leisure and dining on the doorstep, as well as riverside walks and green spaces. The town is home to a globally renowned university, high levels of public and private investment, numerous high-growth start-ups and heavyweight blue-chip organisations including those along the ‘Thames Valley corridor’.

For those looking to enjoy the best of both worlds, it is also surrounded by rolling countryside and green spaces like Basildon Park with 400 acres of historic parkland and a majestic 18th-century mansion, as well as Dinton Pastures Country Park. Connectivity is outstanding, with Verto just a five-minute walk away from Reading station, with fast direct access to London Paddington in just 21 minutes. Once Crossrail is fully operational, there will be additional direct routes to Bond Street and Canary Wharf, while local road connectivity is good with easy access to the M4.

Cameron Davies, development manager at CNM Estates, commented: “Verto Skyline seamlessly blends a first-class riverside location with outstanding design, views, specification and amenities to create an offering that can challenge any other global city. This is a landmark building that raises the bar for development in Reading and will form a blueprint for future growth.

“Reading offers an outstanding quality of life and is set to further shine as the rise of decentralised working takes off and discerning purchasers start to consider their options outside of London.”

Prices for the penthouses at Verto Skyline start at £775,000.
